Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

See Post #1/I. Broadcom WiFi/BT Installation/Bluetooth Injection Method/1. kext enabler/2. Correctly configured USB
USB is off topic.

Is the problem with that if i cannot see it under SysInfo > USB? I thought I had installed the bcm..kexts correct, but i might try again then :)

Hi all, I'm considering the CM94360HMB combo to replace my intel 7260HMW AN but there are 2 things keeping me from doing it. My card only uses 2 antennae vs the 3 the broadcome uses. I read it will work but I dont know the consecuences, it may be better to look for a 2 antennae one.
And I read that some soldering might be needed to get the bluetooth working and that is beyond my abilieties. Is that in any case? my laptop is running High Sierra.

thanks
I use the same card (with only one antennae connected). Wifi works great but BT struggles.
I have ordered an antenna will test and report. BTW, everything works great with this card (Handoff, Apple watch, universal clipboard, Airdrop, Instant hotspot)

P.S: You will need BrcmPatchRAM2 for bluetooth.

Having trouble getting my WiFi to work, Bluetooth is fully functional however. I have WiFi and Bluetooth both working on Windows 10. Windows 10 device manager shows Bluetooth on port #6 and the network adapter on port #3 and I have attached screenshots of that also. I used the 1st WiFi and Bluetooth method in this guide. Running Mac OS 10.12 Sierra and BIOS version A12 with an Azurewave AW-CE123H BCM94352HMB. Thank you for your help :) Edit: Forgot to attach DPCI Manager Status tab screenshot so I attached it separately

Hello, thanks for the brilliant guide, however I have an issue with just WiFi after waking from sleep with AzureWave Broadcom BCM94352HMB (AW-CE123H).
I assume it the RAMUSB system (?) not updating upon wake, though wifi and BT work when I first boot.
I get the same problem with BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext.
I'm on 10.13.3.
I tried method 1 and 3.
3 had seemed unstable and wifi only worked sometimes with no bluetooth and still no wifi after sleep.
So i am aiming to use method 1.
Thanks for any help and all the hard work :)

I have the exact same in Sierra as far as i can tell. I tried briefly to fix it but quickly gave up seems it worked (expect after a wake) on High Sierra and Sierra is not my main OS.

Thanks for the reply, I ordered the other one right away so I will report about it when I have it. Cheers

Does sleep work perfectly with this card too?

Kind of. Before this card, sleep worked except when occasionally resetting my BIOS settings. That's why I stopped using it. Also, when shutting down the computer, it immediately starts up again.
With this card, sleep seems to work, but after shutdown the computer starts again. Then it works normally. Most likely unrelated to the Broadcom card.

Update to my previous post, I ordered 2 antennas and have them connected at this moment. Everything (Wi-Fi, BT, Airdrop) works perfect. Most OOB experience.

P.S: Handoff will work only one way though (mac to iPhone). It is typical on a hackintosh and I don't think there's a way to fix this (without using apple branded Wi-Fi card). You can use an injector for the bluetooth instead of BrcmPatchRAM as new macOS versions have Broadcom firmware uploader built in. In case you wish to use custom firmware or if you face issues with stock firmware you may use BrcmPatchRAM.

Regards

Try using "Halt Enabler" in your config.plist. You may also try "FixShutdown" in conjunction with "Halt Enabler".
