NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (387.10.10.10.25)

I had to revert to the previous webdriver using the German utility. My Hackintosh was completely unusable with the current released driver and my GTX 1080 card. Don't underestimate when people are saying lag. We're not saying, "Eh, it seems a little slower". No, it's like ready to throw the computer out the window kind of slow.
Honestly I never had much success with the Webdrivers since Nvidia started using them a couple of years ago. it's always been laggy. I spent countless hours troubleshooting the lag, but the computer was kind of usable. With this I don't know how you guys got to a login screen with some hardware acceleration. My machine was dead to rights, once I upgraded the Nvidia driver.

I upgraded to the latest Clover boot-loader and I noticed a couple of things off top:
1. I needed to delete both the OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi, and EmuVariableUefi files, then upgrade to the new OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi
From what I read on here Clover now uses native NVRAM
2. I was unable to boot with "NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext" installed.
The workaround was me unchecking "NvidiaWeb" in the boot loader, then once in MacOS, uninstall (delete) NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext.

I did hours of troubleshooting, so once I figured those two points above out. I had already uninstalled the Nvidia driver.
I downloaded the old version of the driver from a link on this site, and installed it using "Webdriver All Versions.app," which is a german program someone shared on this thread (everything is in german, but their steps on how to use it is again on this thread).
This corrected my graphics issues, the machine even seems to run better with the upgraded OsxAptioFix driver.

Then I noticed my audio was broken.
I never had any luck just running the *.command file, or even using MultiBeast (once it was available for HS).
At best I would see the devices listed but nothing would work.
Now on my old BIOS based machine "2010 spec" I had no problem just running the *.command file. I ran it once, and my audio always worked.
What I had been using on this machine was Lilu, and the AppleALC plugin; however this broke on this upgrade.
The way I was able to get my audio working was to delete AppleALC.kext (which was in my EFI/Kext/10.13 folder), then run this "Clover-Unsupported_Audio_Controller.pkg" package, which I found on the audio section of this site.

Everything is working for the first time without having to use Lilu, or any plugins.

I used the german utility to get back to 378.10.10.10.25.104 (the web drivers for the standard Supplemental Update).

Everything is fine and back to normal.
I tried doing the same thing, but reverting it to .104 doesn't do anything. Any ideas? I've also tried .106, but doesn't look like anything actually happened also (resolution is at 1600x1200).

I had 104 working just fine before any update, so hoping to get that going again.

Also I tried to webdriver script as well.

I had a smooth, typical upgrade experience, including the 387.10.10.10.25.156 NVIDIA web driver.

My desktop seems fully accelerated and smooth at 4K (1920x1080@2x) just as before, I even opened a bunch more apps than I'd usually multitask with and Mission Controlled the open windows a few times.

My profile hardware config's up-to-date and I use a very vanilla install based on the guides here. No nvidiagfxfixup, lilu or other unique fixes. Clover 4359.

The only atypical display setting I use is 30-Bit Color (ARGB2101010) using ResXtreme.

edit: One more thing - I have my Intel integrated GPU disabled in BIOS.

The current crop of drivers are not as reliable for me as the previous 104 crop - keeping an eye out for an EBF release.

Any idea if Nvidia will correct this lagging?

I'm not holding my breath on that. I haven't seen many users of real Macs report the lag so I'm assuming it's strictly a hackintosh issue and I don't know how much that interests Nvidia.

The latest version of Clover's EFI Bootloader with OsxAptio3FixDrv brought my newly updated (*.156) machine back from the black screen of death. Now to see if it fixes my dual monitor boot issue (after I get my audio working again!)

Smbios mac pro 6,1 perfect no laggy no shutter - gtx640 2 gbs
In smbios imacpro 1,1 Finder change size windows lag - gtx 980ti 6 gbs.

Will it work fine from 14,2?
