Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems

It doesn't look too bad, try this edited version and report progress :

BIOS - Disable Integrated graphics - Set PEG as Primary
Use a digital connection - DVI or HDMI - VGA is not supported.

Boot with nv_disable=1
May need to update Clover
Install web drivers
Update web drivers to ensure that you have the correct version.

Config.plist - Do not inject Intel or Nvidia graphics and no ig-platform-id
Config.plist - Disable SIP completely - CsrActiveConfig 0x67
Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link
May need to emulate native NVRAM - Problem 6 - Install EmuVariableUefi-64 and RC scripts.
Remove nv_disable=1 from config.plist
May need to install Lilu.kext , LiluFriend and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext

Potential Problems :
HDMI 2.0 is not supported - Use HDMI 1.4 (or lower)
If your graphics card has more than one output of the type that you are using then try another one.
Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

Thank you! I updated Clover and used the provided Config file and it seemed to work!

Question does the nvidiaFixup help in the bootflag for starting web drivers? I can't get mine to load on default without choosing the bootflag i clover.

Wondering if anyone can help, im stumped.

Fresh install of 10.13.2, have everything working apart from nvidia drivers.

System preferences doesn't seem to be detecting the GPU just shows "Display 3 MB" and keeps defaulting to OS X Default Graphics Driver.

Add your hardware to you profile per the site rules. See post #1 problem #6.

Apologies, profile updated.

Still seem to have the same issue, have just attempted step #6 again, no luck.

I recently finished a new CustoMac mATXand was able to install High Sierra. Everything things to seems to be working fine but my GPU is not being recognized and used. Under about Mac it is displaying Display 7MB. New to this so any help would be appreciated.

My build:
High Sierra 10.13.2 (17C88)
Gigabyte GA-Z270MX-Gaming 5
Core i7-7700K
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC Black
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT (16GB)
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB

Hi all - Just started building my haskintosh yesterday so i'm new. I have Sierra up and running but i can't get my nvidia web drivers to stay loaded.

Here's what i'm working with:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming 7
CPU- i7 6700
Gigabyte Geforce 1080 G1 GPU
Crucial Ballistic Sport L7
Samsung 850 PRO 500GB
I believe i'm using 17,1

I installed the latest version of Clover and tried all these methods of getting the drivers to load. Right now after the apple loading screen, i just have a blank screen and my monitor shuts off. Machine stays running though.. it's just black.

Any help would be much appreciated,
thanks

The new 10.3.2 web drivers don't work fine for me. OSX freezes as soon as it reaches the desktop. It doesn't matter if I use nvda_drv=1, nvda_drv=0, nvdr_disable=1 etc.. Gonna try now to remove the nvidiagraphicsfix.kext.

Update:
Removing that kext does nothing so I guess I don't even need it.

Anyone?

The flag you need is nv_disable=1
