It did it automaticly. And I still use HFS+, not APFS, for safety reasons.

Updated top post with NVIDIA drivers for 10.13.2 Supplemental Update (Build 17C205)
Cool! Still think it's a bit confusing that is says:
”Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers” for the Supplemental Update, when that isn't the case. But I guess you mean updated graphics drivers is a part of the 10.13.2 update and not the Supplemental Update in particular?

Updated to 10.13.2 (17C205), via the App Store. and after Nvidia Web updated in total 15 min with No problem. Only CPU speed is a little bit less.

Installed after a bit of trouble.
On the first attempt, the install failed, and the system was left unchanged. I wanted to try again, but the App Store had no update available. After about 15 minutes of messing around and doing research on the topic, the App Store again had the supplemental update available. This time it worked without a hitch. I had previously done this to fix a boot error on a previous update:
I had just left the FakeSCM.kext in place from last time, so the new update installed correctly. I then updated the Nvidia drivers, and all is completed and working.

Everything went fine.
Updated directly from AppStore. After update was completed, just installed the new nVidia WebDrivers.
Before update:
Updated "NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext" to latest version.

Same here, entirely uneventful. Still don't have the system sound working but bluetooth sound fine.
