Currently Running the Samsung 960 EVO 250GB, absolutely love it
Improved speed results with Disk Speed test update 3.1
Pain in the ass to setup but so worth it, 1GB test pictured.
Also attached is the AmorphousDiskMark test, I don't really understand the queue depth thing, but those results are interesting

Hi, are you on High Sierra?
If yes, did you install some sort of Samsung Driver or other things?
I'm asking because with a 960 pro I have almost 3500 on Windows (only if I install the Samsung driver) and 2300-2600 on High Sierra without installing anything now that it's natively recognized.
Thanks : )

Hi,
Haven't got around to updating yet, I'm hesitant it may be a pain in the ass to update successfully, as it took me weeks to figure it out initially.
Will post my speed results in a few weeks when I can dedicate some time for update and testing.
Only suggestion is try different benchmarking apps, as most are synthetic and often dont translate to real world results, see if there are variations from app to app.

ok I'll do that thanks... but I used the "officially suggested" (same as yours) so I suppose it's not about the app :\

btw I tried with Sierra (image here) and nothing changed. On Windows my results are better. I think something in my general config is missing... but I don't know what it is :(

Wow, thanks for the info. I am preparing to build my 3rd Hackintosh. How does High Sierra run? Any issues with the install?

I haven't tried it yet on mine as I want full compatibility to 32 bit as well (for older apps), but it shouldn't be a problem (build page is on my signature). I've seen a couple of guys have said installation on High Sierra has been a breeze for this board so it should be okay.

Toshiba RD400 256GB..
