[SOLVED] Copy of apfs.efi failed - please advise

Hello all,

Awaiting the hardware, which will be on my doorstep on monday, I thought I'd do some installation preparations following the installation guide, preparing a Voyager 3.0 USB drive with High Sierra 10.13.2. However, that all came to a halt in step 2:14 when I received the following message from UniBeast:

"There was an error creating your UniBeast drive: Copy of apfs.efi failed"

Please advise.

SOLVED - Item 18 and 19 in troubleshooting notes made the trick. You need to use Terminal to format GPT.
--- excerpt from troubleshooting notes---
19. If you get the error "Couldn't copy apfs.efi to destination ESP folder" on a UEFI Boot Mode creation, erase the destination USB stick with the following command and rerun UniBeast:

sudo diskutil partitionDisk USB-Device GPT JHFS+ VOLUME-NAME R

Replace USB-Device with the device name of your destination volume, i.e. /dev/disk2
Replace VOLUME-NAME with the volume name you want.

Be aware UniBeast will change the volume name to "Install macOS High Sierra" which is the default that Apple uses for USB installation media.

Could you please attach screen how to change or replace device name, i'm confused?

Me three. Same error after successfully running through that terminal line.

Edit: I had to download the most recent version of the Mojave installer - even though the version I had was pretty recent. For some reason that seems to have made all the difference. Hope that helps someone else.
