For what it's worth, this issue happens on my GTX 970 as well. GPU works fine on boot, but waking up from sleep causes the whole computer to lag and become unusable.

I'm using high Sierra 10.13.2 with APFS.

Does it only occur for High Sierra? Have you tried other OS X/macOS OS versions such as Yosemite, El Capitan, and Sierra?

I think I may have this issue with the 1060 crashing after sleep resolved. I installed the alternate web driver for my version of high sierra. 10.13.2 (17C88).
I haven't been able to get it to crash yet. Gonna keep testing.
The driver I isntalled was WebDriver-378.10.10.10.25.102

High Sierra is my first install on this system, so I have no idea.

Issue is not fixed!

Nvidia... come on guys....... Jeeeeeeeez.......fix yo sheit already!

Just made a hardware switch: EVGA GTX 1060 to EVGA GTX 1050 TI SC, glitch after wake symptoms appear to be completely gone. :)

My system is HS10.13, GTX 1060 3GB. also glitch after some action like wake from sleep. if i switch the resolution then i can fix it for a while, but i have this issue about three times a day. sometimes the screen falls in a very slow modus, and my user logg off without saving, i think it is also the GTX 1060. however i think i will switch the hardware.
