Sorry to reply like this, but I wanted to mention the following first. If I set SIP to 0x1 (allow untrusted kexts) everything works, including audio devices present, but when I change it to SIP 0x0, then no audio devices present. Is this correct, and should I still upload files for you to revise?

No.

So after the long journey I do now have working audio. Thank you very much :)

I do still have the issue that the line out port doesn't amplify correctly and I have to use the black port for audio but this one does work correctly. I presume there's little scope to change this?

Thank you again :)

"line out port doesn't amplify correctly" means green port (y/n)?
Green port uses external amp, no AppleHDA.kext support
Black port uses audio codec amps, AppleHDA.kext support
For external amp support, try RehabMan / OS-X-EAPD-Codec-Commander

Yeah I mean the green port. Annoyingly on my mobo, they opted to not colour code the audio ports as they are usually done.

Ill give that one a go, is there any benefit to trying the external amp support? Or is it just as suitable to stick with your method now its working?

Thanks in advance for any help sorting out no audio device issue - I'm a noob and clearly in over my head!
