Yes, but the KeepingYouAwake sleep function works.
Maybe i don't understand. KeepingYouAwake "... that can prevent your Mac from entering sleep mode...". How does that app will help me in my case to get sleep work properly?

Download it from the above link and install and set Preferences on menu bar by right click, then by clicking the icon the app will be changed to white and activated.

Your answer makes no sense, but anyway. Thanks!

Today I uploaded DSDT.aml file modified on the first post, which is improved power-off problem when sleeping. The monitor sleep works, although the PC body can not sleep.

Any update on this? Anything special about the installation?
Not yet. I was on vacation and will continue to work on the system on christmas.

No. The installation is very easy. You need the following clover settings, kexts and a config.plist with EHC1 & EHC2 rename & port limit patch, IntelGFX inject & ig-platform-id (if using intel HD), IMac 14.2 system definition and Audio ID=1 with AppleALC. You should also create an SSDT for native CPU power mangement with Pikers script.
I didnt used the OP's DSDT, because it was not working - I created my own DSDT. But i recognized no difference with or without DSDT - so you can use the build without DSDT. I will check sleep again around christmas.

- UEFI & ESP
- Theme
- Drivers64UEFI -> OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi & EmuVariableUefi-64.efi
- RC scripts

Ok, thanks very much. I appreciate your reply. I was able to do the install and it is mostly stable. However, two issues:

1. I cannot get it to boot from the hard drive. I have to boot with the installer USB, then choose the hard drive from clover. I get the dreaded "reboot and select proper boot device". I'm not sure how to get around this because I cannot see in the BIOS where to select UEFI only (i.e., disable Legacy). Any thoughts?

2. I have computer sleep disabled but screen sleep enabled. The screen goes dark but the display doesn't shut off. So it just glows. I have to manually turn off the display.

Really, just getting #1 fixed would make me happy.

Thanks

Ok, after some searching I found a solution for #1. It appears the BIOS can get "confused" (for a lack of a better word) about the boot device, so I updated the BIOS to the final version (1.9) and now it boots without the USB stick. However, it gets stuck at the Clover menu and I have to press enter to get it to boot. I've heard of this issue before so I think I should be able to find a solution for it, too.
