Never heard about that in relation with Hackintosh.

Also, I am suffering from a very slow boot speed.
The boot stucks on "apfs_mount_update:17785: er: mount check: ro->rw update: no encryption rolling in progress, bailing " for about 1 mins.
Do you have the similar issue and have any comments?

Do you have the appropriate 10.13.1 apsf.efi in your EFI-Folder? Otherwise try disable the TRIM KextToPtach entry.

I have no issues at all. My system boots within seconds.

Thanks for your reply.

Actually I use your released efi package directly. In that package, there exists apsf.efi and the corresponding setup about trim. I was wondering whether current apsf.efi is updated.

Also, I noted that there is a post to discuss similar issue
[https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/slow-boot-time-with-samsung-960-evo-nvme.232322/]

In this post, it is mentioned about "ACPI/patched is out of sync with native" and "re-extract/re-patch ACPI". But as a newbee, I have no idea about that. Do you have any comments?

Nothing to comment or add...my system boots within a few seconds... no issues at all... and I also do use a Samsung 960 NVMe..

That's my EFI folder.

oops ... not enabled ... I think I have some job to do this weekend ... 1) upgrade to 10.13.1, 2) enable C1&C3 :Q

hi to every body.
is there nobody out there who owns a x99 deluxe hack with working usb3, audio and bluetooth who did an upgrade from latest Sierra to high Sierra.

Trying to install High Sierra on a new SSD.
No luck yet. Not sure if it's hardware compatibility issues.
Got verbose down to just ++++++++++++++++++++++++++.

(i've tried every combination of osxaptiodrv, osxaptiofixdrv2, osxaptiodrv-free2000
newest clover and kexts, removing all other peripherals, gpus, ssds, bios settings, boot flags.)

At wits end now. Any ideas?

all roads lead to:

OsxAptioFixDrv or OsxAptioFix2Drv: Starting overrieds for \.IABootFiles\boot.efi
Using reloc block: no, hibernate wake: no
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

and just hangs there

Alright, so yesterday finally I had some time to try and do the installation, but right away I came across a problem.
So, it went as follows:
Followed the guide
Boot from USB
Installer comes up and starts the installation from the USB
Then the first picture comes up (not sure if it's normal or not, guess not)
23714917_10156028679139674_2090738701_o.jpg
Then a bunch of lines comes in rapid succession and can't read any of it and stops in the second image
23715123_10156028679019674_231557740_o.jpg
And finally, after a minute or so, the whole thing looks like a corrupted image and a typical from apple "No" sign comes up and just stays there, of course.

So, as I mentioned before, this is my first try to do a hackingtosh.
I'm leaving the components of my computer, jus in case.
-Core i7-6850k
-Asus uAtx x99-M WS motherboard
-Corsair Vengance LED 4GB x 8 RAM
-EVGA Nvidia GTX 980 ti Classified
-Corsair AX860i power supply
-Corsair H100i v2 CPU cooler
-I also have hooked a SIIG Legacy and beyond series, USB 3.0 type-c and A, PCIE card
-Samsung 960 PRO Series 512 GB but I have windows installed in this, I'm trying to install MacOS in a 325 GB HDD

So I hope this is enough information for a diagnosis. Thank you.
