[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Hi RehanMan,
I’ve a problem with my friend’s probook 6460b.
I5-2520m, 4gb ram, 320gb hdd (mechanical jhfs+) High Sierra 10.13 BIOS F68.
It was a 10.10 installation PBI-CE before, moving first to hotpatch and then update to 10.13 directly.

No Audio.

Trying a fresh install 10.13 following your guide (not my first hack not my first probook, not my first laptop).
No audio, trying to boot without caches, then rebuild and reboot 2 times.
Nothing.
Trying to use a VoodooHDA2.9 kext with kext wizard but nothing.
I use your config_6x60.plist with alternate droptables (standard don’t boot).
Trying also hotpatches beta.
Nothing.

Any suggest?

remove voodoohda

follow guide as is, if still not working, then upload problem reporting files

VoodooHDA is already removed.
I'm not at home so I can't post reporting files.
later I'll do.
I want to try first to insall fresh AppleHDA.kext, bringing that on OSX installer.

Hi Rehabman, I have a problem since yesterday after launching the "Updates to the patch repositories" procedure and installing "Paragon NTFS" on my ZBook 15G2 under 10.11.6.
After reboot I lost graphics, audio, battery, fn keys etc ... only wifi and bt work.

I reinstalled Clover + Post-Install Hotpatch without result.

Hi everyone,

after the High Sierra update I've also updated the whole Rehabman git project, run the scripts and applied the new config.plist etc for my HP Probook (G4 kabylake). I didn't edit anything just applied everything like it was, following the guide for the update.

I have two things that are not working as they used to do and maybe they're related:
1) Screen doesn't wake up after sleep. It stays black and I'm forced to to force a restart
2) I can't adjust my screen brightness anymore

Unfortunately I can't tell if this happened after the High Sierra update or after the patches/configs update from Rehabman git repo because I did both.

This guide does not use VoodooHDA.kext.
Follow post #1 as written.

If you have an issue, you must provide "Problem Reporting" attachments.

I know, but is my 3rd fresh install, something goes wrong with hotpatches...
I don’t know what.
