Hey guys,
recently updated to High Sierra 10.13 10.13.1 and my GPU performance has gone bad. Opening a program from the launchpad is visibly stuttering, and I get lags in Logic X when scrolling and scaling etc. But its not like having no driver installed. Scaling windows is also stuttering (no idea if this is normal).

I did not have the logic lag and launch pad stuttering on Sierra.

Web Driver Version: 389.10.10.10.15.121 378.10.10.10.20.107
Made sure to have all the latest kext's.

Code:
kext file:///System/Library/Extensions/PACESupportFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/PACESupportSnowLeopard.kext/ is in hash exception list, allowing to load

Kext with invalid signatured (-67062) allowed: <OSKext 0x7f9f1f570d30 [0x7fff8bd50570]> { URL = "CodecCommander.kext/ -- file:///System/Library/Extensions/", ID = "org.tw.CodecCommander" }

I have the exact same problem. Anyone have a solution?

Sadly the newest driver doesnt fix the performance either. Comparing my Dell XPS 13 with 10.13.1 and my Desktop with 10.13.1 there seems to be a huuuge difference. Laptop feels really fluid and premium, just like a real macbook. My Desktop in comparison is slow and stuttering. Its nothing that makes this system unusable but its definitely noticeable.

Which model and brand of the GTX 1060 do you have?

I dont know, but i would remove the GPUSensors.kext (FakeSMC.kect plugin) for Pascal GPUs:
For my knowledge it doesnt work fully and may produce negative speed sideeffects.

Removed the kext, no improvement. I noticed however that starting Logic X in low resolution mode increases the performance big time. Seems like the GPU really isnt used properly by the system. (Desktop applications in 4k should be easy for a Pascal GPU, at least even video editing on windows is fluid)

I don't use GPUSensors.kext. The issue seems largely limited to using scaled resolutions. When I switch to "Default for display" the stuttering goes away and the system feels smooth. It seems that the web drivers are buggy. The 1080 TI should be able to drive 2 4k displays in scaled resolutions.

As a side note i'm also noticing much more heat and power consumption on the 1080 when running on macOS. The fans spin more frequently than on Windows 10 and I can hear continuous coil whine on macOS that goes away completely on Windows during idle.

I'm not finished with my build, but at least there are no issues with my GPU so far.
I used the latest Unibeast and Multibeast version from the downloads section. Still a lot to do with audio and stuff.

I have my config.plist attached so you can have a look at it or test it if you want.

That's the list of kexts I use atm.:

FakePCIID Intel is not necessary since we are not using integrated graphics I guess. Rest seems similar.
You are also Injecting Intel and Intel HD fake id which is counterproductive when using a GPU.

Just checked my processor usage when scaling windows and its clearly visible that the processor is working on that, not the GPU.
