macOS 10.13.1 Update

Had a perfectly smooth upgrade on system with Nvidia GTX 770. Have cheated and have fixed the Nvidia Info.plist (you need to change to <string>17B48</string> inside the file to fool the driver)
Code:
sudo nano /Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext/Contents/Info.plist
cd /Library/Extensions/
chown -R 0:0 NVDAStartupWeb.kext
sudo -s
chmod -R 755 NVDAStartupWeb.kext
kextcache -I /
Do the above before starting the upgrade to 10.13.1!

The only thing that failed to work was audio which I fixed by running the
./audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3.command

Code:
bash-3.2# kextcache -I /

No work to do; check options and try again.

Help?

Ah, like this then

sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
sudo kextcache -system-caches

This actually happened on one of my systems. Turned out it's a super easy fix.

For those enrolled in the Public Beta or Developer Beta program in the past, use the following link's guide to Unenroll your computer from the programs. After you do this the final 10.13.1 Update will appear in Mac App Store.

https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/unenroll

1
Open the App Store Preference Pane.
Go to the Apple menu () and select System Preferences. Select the App Store icon from the list of Preferences icons.

2
Disable Beta Software Updates.
Click the “Change…” button next to “Your computer is set to receive beta software updates.”

3
Confirm Your Change.
A dialog will appear asking if you would like to show or hide beta software updates. Select "Do Not Show Beta Software Updates," and your Mac will no longer receive the public betas. When the next commercial version of macOS is released, you can install it from the Mac App Store.

* GA-Z77-DS3H + Intel HD4000 Gfx + macOS 10.13.1 Update SUCCESS ! *
  • Updated the Apfs.efi file in Clover
  • SIP Partially Disabled, ran the OS X Update via the App Store
  • Updated from macOS 10.13(17A405) to macOS 10.13.1 High Sierra
  • After the PC restarted, selected my install macOS High Sierra option in Clover menu + Verbose
Update successful but broke my audio only

What a relief getting it working first time after the great hassle that I experienced with the OS X 10.13(17A405) Supplemental update.

I selected the option to run Installer from Clover. The Apple logo and progress bar comes up but it is taking forever. Not sure if it’s doing anything as the HDD light is not even blinking. I uninstalled NVidia drivers just so there wouldn’t be any conflict.

Update was easy, only to reapply Toleda patch for audio. The only difference was that I have to disconnect my other SSD and HD.
