Hey Eightball8! I am just getting my rig buttoned up! I still have to fix my USB 3. Meanwhile I have been using a 4-port USB 3 PCi Card and the USB ports limited to USB2 speeds. I couldn't get High Sierra installed on my OWC PCIe SSD Card.

I am running a Vega FE Video Card and haven't tried an NVIDIA card yet. But the driver and codes, kexts instructions used seem to be on this thread:

I used Clover Configurator to mount the EFIs of NVMe and the Installer, then copied the EFI from the Installer and replaced it on NVMe!

My internal native graphics ports HDMI/DisplayPort don't work either. I am not sure how to engage/patch them. The Vega Cards work fine. I am not sure if the Z270 Gaming 7 & Z270X-UD5 have the same settings.

mrclassicrecord - finally got the Nvidia drivers working - turns out I needed the emuVariableUefi-64.efi to get it to boot.

Now, I'm trying to get audio to work. How did you get audio on your board?

Any tips greatly appreciated!

Glad to hear your up and running!

My onboard Audio isn't patched, nor the onboard HDMI! For my current audio I am using the simple "SABRENT AU-EMAC USB EXTERNAL STEREO SOUND ADAPTER"! However I can also get Audio through the Vega GPU Video Cards HDMI & Display Ports!

I am still going to have to correct my USB 3 configuration after I finalize some more Apps and parts! But if you want native audio start a thread in the hardware generalization and it should get answered there!

which smbios are you setting....mouse and key borad are not working with smbios18.3..all works with macpro6.1......my rig is ga-z270 hd3 ..i7 7700k..rx 580...
