I've installed my Hackintosh on a EliteBook 8470P 10 months ago.
Everything seems to work.

I upgraded to 12.12.6 perfectly by the OTA update on the AppStore and everything's clean.

My question, is : how to keep my Hackintosh up-to-date, and follow the best practices ?

I also would like to share my config as it is asked in every post.

How to ?
I used clover to make this HP Laptop being a Hackintosh ( bougth on Hackbook when it was alive)

I will get all your advices.

I updated but I am getting this error.

Download 10.12.6 via app store, click restart, screen change to apple logo for few seconds then reboot back to log in screen. Nothing installed. It happens same thing with combo update which downloaded apple website. BTW, I tried to update 10.12 - 10.12.6. What steps did i miss? Any helps would be appreciated.

Today Apple released 10.12.6, the sixth major update to macOS Sierra. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the Mac App Store, or by using the standalone installer available from Apple.com.​

Download the macOS 10.12.6 Combo Update​

Be sure to back up any important data, and if possible clone your hard drive before applying the update. If you have any issues post-update, boot using UniBeast created USB, press spacebar, and boot using Safe Mode.

• macOS Build 16G29
• Kernel updated to Darwin 16.7.0
• Native support for Intel's 7th generation 'Kaby Lake' CPUs.
• Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers
  • NVIDIA Alternate Graphics Drivers have been updated for 10.12.6.
  • Native 'Kaby Lake' Intel HD 6xx Graphics support - How to enable 'Kaby Lake' Intel 6xx Graphics [10.12.6+)
• This update will replace your audio drivers. If you enabled Realtek onboard audio using MultiBeast or the cloverALC script, no changes will be necessary.
• Install macOS Sierra App has been updated - If you downloaded macOS Sierra from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. The updated 10.12.6 Install macOS Sierra App can be found in the Applications folder. You may then re-create your UniBeast installation USB.

Hi. I use the Google translator! I have H110 MSI pro. nvidia 750 ti. hdd sata. 3 days trying to install Siera 10.12.6 video is not working, no sound, just launched the network. kexts not found! settings BIOS not found! I was very tired in search of information!!!! Sundry write the manual for installing and setting up my configuration. Really wanted to try but no information!

is it all so difficult in ios! why Windows takes all of the online and IOS require installation on each item? So hard to make a setting for all elements of the system! Anyone know what to do respond! Thank you all!!

I installed the system. configured the Internet. Video NV 750ti to run failed! the driver put, prescribed download. Loading driver at replacement video....
