Can't view a forum page--permission problem??

I think I'm experiencing a problem with tonymacx86.com's forum system.

Using the search function I found a link to the following:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/cant-download-sierra-off-app-store.233515/

But when I try to go there I get an error message window saying:
You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

Just to be thorough I've also attached a screen capture showing the error message.

The post was removed because the author was encouraging software piracy which is contrary to the site rules.
 
Read the rules again and you will see one of the many reasons a post will be removed.

I know there are rules, however I am interested in the specific rule which was enforced here.
Closing down threads without giving an explanation seems a bit rude for the people who were contributing to that thread.
Perhaps an error message saying "Flagged for XY" would be more appropriate?
