[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

For BCM943602, you should disable various patches that are intended only for BCM94352. Check your config.plist.

May also be an issue with country code mismatch. You didn't provide any details on region/networking equipment.

I checked my config. The only reference I see to wifi relate to com.apple.driver.AirPort.Brcm4360. I didn't see any references to BCM 94352. Should any of these patches for 4360 be eliminated? If not, anything else I should be looking for?

In system profiler, it says my wifi card is US/FCC. My router is also country code US. I am located in the US.

Hey, curious if anyone has experienced an issue with Shutdown. After the upgrade on my Elitebook 840 G1, everything seems to be working correctly. However, when I got to shutdown, I see a black screen and the laptop does not shutdown. I have to force shutdown by holding the power button. This is something new with High Sierra. Anyone else notice this?

You did not follow the guide.
This guide does not use Shiki.kext, nor VoodooHDA.kext.

Also, the guide recommends OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi, not OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi. And you have both, which is wrong in any case. Those files are mutually exclusive.

No ioreg attached.
And looking at ACPI/patched, your files are not up-to-date.

Yes. That patch is for BCM94352.

Why are you replying in the 10.13 thread when you have 10.12.5 installed?
And why 10.12.5 and not 10.12.6?

So, just to clarify. If I have a 943602 card I should delete references to brcm4360 in my config?

Yes, of course (4360 is native).

And you didn't answer my questions:

Why are you replying in the 10.13 thread when you have 10.12.5 installed?
And why 10.12.5 and not 10.12.6?

Sorry, I am updating to 10.12.6 now and will reply to the other thread. I did just now remove all references to 4360 in my config, but the wifi is still slow. I worry about upgrading to 10.13 if I don't first get the wifi issue resolved. Thanks.

Not possible to guess without problem reporting files.
Reply in the 10.12 thread with "Problem Reporting" files.

Your problem reporting attachment is too large.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

I followed that. I have tried to trim it down to under 5mb.

Maybe I can send it piecemeal rather than one zip, which has the EFI folder minus themes and the Apple and Boot folders. I have also included an ioreg file and Terminal Saved Output files inside the folder that will unzip.

EFI was never requested. "Problem Reporting" request asks for only EFI/Clover, not entire EFI folder.

You forgot to press enter after 'system_profiler SPSerialATADataType|grep TRIM'. but...
Your ioreg shows you installed on APFS. And you have TRIM enabled.
Current config.plist files checked into github have TRIM disabled.
You need to disable TRIM or install on HFS+ instead of APFS.

Your Find pattern is wrong.
Actual data for 0105 in 0x04260000 is:
01 05 09 00 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 00

Ok ive corrected the ports now they are properly listed in IOreg, but none of them works(no displays are detected at VGA and DP connectors on laptop and dock): neither are detected in IOreg, when display plugged in nothing happens.
