macOS 10.13 Supplemental update

I had assumed you had already tried it multiple times.

Might avoid problems in the future.

You assumed correctly. I have tried easily 20 times the day before yesterday. But after posting the files, I said, let's try again, and voila. It worked. I felt so stupid!

This might sound stupid but I do not know...how do I make macOS the first partition. When I did the partition of the drive I am currently using I follow your guide to the coma. So I was surprised to learn that the sequence was wrong. Thanks again

BTW, I had the same issue on one of my updates.

But it was my fault... I had stepped away from the computer during the download, and because of my Clover settings, it rebooted, but instead of into the installer/updater, it booted back into my main partition. That does something to screw up the installer and then you get that error, forcing you to start over with the update.

You may have done the same thing.
You must be prepared to sit there and babysit the whole process.

Thanks, you made me feel better. If something like this can happen to the great Rehabman, then anything can happen to me.
