Update Directly to macOS High Sierra

Great!! I'll try it tomorrow.
(waiting for unibeast and multibeast for high sierra...)

I followed the direction (Both)
and after the reboot, there is no option to Boot macOS Install.
I mean I did 5. At prompt, type A to agree to the License Agreement. When complete, the computer will automatically reboot.

And in 6, I don't see Boot macOS Install option. What am I doing wrong?

6. At Clover boot screen, choose Boot macOS Install option (Example: Boot macOS Install from Macintosh HD). Choosing your system drive will go back to your previous installation without updating.

My clover is up to date.

You probably need to update your 10.12.6 drive to the current version of Clover. You can also remove any startup items on your Sierra install as well. Some have problems if they have the HW Monitor app and the sensors installed so remove those too.

Soon, we're testing. Adding an option to not use APFS (use HFS+). If you want my advise, wait for 10.13.3. Then all the major bugs will be corrected and APFS will be more mature.

Correct me if I am wrong but it sounds as if Unibeast and Multibeast for High Sierra won't be available until HS 10.13.3, Am I right? Though at the present moment the instructions here help to get it done without both if upgrading but I am interested in starting fresh and I am afraid to do so because im a noob in this.

Some Feedback.
I also updated to HS by the guide on page 1 - including AFPS
My system is nearly STORKs HERO Build.

Everything works fine so far.

  • WLAN - ok
  • LAN - ok
  • BT - ok
  • Handover/Continuity - ok
  • Graphics - ok (need new Nvidia Driver)
  • Apple Watch 3 unlocking - ok
  • AirPlay (LCD and AVR) - ok
  • Sound via HDMI - nok - as it was before. sometimes it works, sometimes not.
  • Sound via green Output - nok - seems that it requires another patch. I'll give a feedback
  • Sound via USB - ok
  • iMessage - ok
  • Nvidia graphics glitch (wakeup after sleep) still persists :thumbdown
  • USB3.0 Front-Ports - ok, after fix (need to use this fix - thanks https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/new-usb-raise-port-limit-patch-for-high-sierra.226072/)
  • TRIM - nok - need to check it
Miscellaneous
- two new volumes at CLOVER. "macOS install prebooted" and "FileFault prebooted"
------Just enter a new string "preboot" at "hide" option in the config.plist to hide them
- all apps in the auto start have disappeared
- Path Finder 7 need reinstall
- Bartender needs update to version 3

So far so good ... I'll update as soon as I have more informations

P.S Another short question -- can I delete the kext at "Clover/kext/others" after successful update?

You are incorrect. Be patient. As coaches are found of saying, "Don't rush to fail!"

Move them to your Desktop. Then use KextBeast to install them in the /Library/Extensions/ folder. Lastly, remove the kexts from your Desktop.
