macOS High Sierra 10.13 Supplemental Update

Change build number in web loader, repair permissions (this is key, it won't work otherwise). clear/rebuid kext cache.

What do you mean web loader? I was going to change the build number in the NVDAStartupWeb.kext but it's not in my extensions? I can only find NVDAStartup.kext. Where exactly do you change the build number now?

I will wait for new web drivers update , for now i just remaking my USB with High Sierra, i just downloaded High Sierra again from store and i am doing that steps to create usb stick again. later on if i have some problem i will have a backup pendrive for reinstall.
Anyone knows if clover will need to be updated too ? I need to wait clover?

NVDAStartupWeb.kext is in L/E now, not S/L/E
and that's what I meant. the nvidia loader web version (NVDAStartupWeb.kext)

Ok. Finally I figure it out how to install update to APFS system.

If you install all kext to L/E or S/L/E on post installation process especially primary kext such as FakeSMC, IntelGraphicsFixup and Lilu(this is for my system cause I don't have discrete Graphics Card) you must to move it back these kexts to CLOVER/kext/others. Then remove the EmuVariableUefi-64.efi if you are using it. Otherwise you will get this error when you choose "Boot MacOS Install from High Sierra"



After complete these kext things download manual installer or install update from Appstore. First restart you must to choose "Boot MacOS Install from High Sierra" (Clover choose this automatically, if not choose manually.) You will see now High Sierra installer wait, its finish in couple of minutes then restart automatically on this second restart you must to choose your Primary HD I mean "Boot MacOS from High Sierra" (Clover choose this automatically too, if not choose manually again) now installer finish second stage of update and you will boot without any problem.

I see. I wasn’t aware it moved. I haven’t had to change it for a while. I have been waiting for the drivers to drop before doing any sort of update.
Thanks for that MysticalOS. As always you come to the rescue. The kext has been modified and just running through the second stage of the install.
I’ll let you all know how it goes once it’s finished. Thanks mate

Updated to 17A405 without any problems.
My Asus motherboard WiFi is not supported, so therefore no Messages, FaceTime, AirDrop

Thank You very much! I had the kexts in CLOVER/kext/10.13 and not in CLOVER/kext/others. After copying them there I could finally make the update without any problems. Only the audio I had to install once again.

I'm stuck now. Can't reach the desktop. It must be because of the Nvidia drivers. What did you guys do to get you out of this? nv_disable=1 and enabling intel graphics makes no difference. Help please

Your modifications are incomplete. you have to repair permissions, delete/rebuild kext cache all before rebooting with plist modification, else drivers will still refuse to load, then panic when trying to handoff to apple drivers.

or you don't have libvalfix. another caveat of modifying drivers, their signature is ruined which means if you didn't require libvalfix before, you will cause of modifications.

i don't know of a way to fix either, another startup disk to either finish modifications, add nvidalibvalfix, or remove em if neither step works.
