MacOs Sierra 10.12/10.13 on ASUS X99 Deluxe/U3.1

Here you have my EFI Folder for 10.13 High Sierra (build 17A365). Is for my Asus X99 Deluxe/U3.1, Intel I7 5820k OC to 4.4 ghz. Use pike's ssdtprgen.sh to generate ssdt if your cpu have different oc or is stock speed, and clover configurator to generate own serial/mlb. Nvidia released web driveres for 10.13 so I think you may go with 10.13. For me, is fully working including sleep/wake, auto sleep, iCloud, iMessage, everything.

Bless you sir! I will try these on my X99 deluxe tonight

Let me know how it went :D !

Ah Man, no luck! Starting from a fresh system, I had an error with something relating to PCI config, then went to still waiting for root device, and then I got the circle with the x in the middle. I think it might be because I have 2 1080s in my system. I will have more time tonight (yay friday nights are for hackintoshing), to remove one of the cards and try again

So an update for me, I tried removing the second card, and It almost booted to the installer, but got stuck on "
kextd stall 'AppleACPICPU'" And im not sure where to go from here. Will report back if i figure it out

I've got the same problem. With an unmodified efi folder I can get to the Installer but I can't boot macOS once the installation is finished.

first of all, thanks for the guide! here is my question, this works with Asus X99 PRO (non USB3.1) with an 5820k? thanks!

Don’t know, can you supply your original dsdt? (Press F4 when in clover bootloader and you will find DSDT.aml in (Efi/Clover/Acpi/Orig)

Has anyone made this to work with 5960X CPU ? I am panicking at AppleACPIPlatform whatever I try. I have inserted the IOPCIFamily kext patch for the 5960X but no luck.

I have sold it weeks ago.

Guys I feel is time to give back to this amazing community, maybe I will help somebody :). (PS: I'm from Romania and I don't speak/write too well in english lol )

My Config:

MB: ASUS X99 Deluxe/U3.1

CPU: INTEL 5820k (Overclocked to 4.3 GHZ at 1.168mv manual voltage)

GPU: ASUS STRIX NVIDIA GTX 980ti

Bios Settings:

Intel XHCI = YES

XHCI HANDOFF =YES

EHCI HANDOFF=NO

EIST/TURBO=Enabled

CPU CSTATES=AUTO

CSMSUPPORT=DISABLED

SECUREBOOT=OTHER OS

OVERCLOCK FOR MY CPU (IF YOUR DIFFERS IN RATIO GENERATE YOUR OWN SSDT WITH piker's alpha ssdtprgen.sh)

SYNC ALL CORES, RATIO 43 MANUAL VOLTAGE 1.168)
I Have experienced some weird issues with my bios but after i've loaded default settings and then made my settings all works fine.

This is what counts !

For me everything works in MacOS Sierra 10.12, Sleep,Onboad Audio/Audio After Sleep, HDMI/DP AUDIO, Bluetooth, HandsOff Continuity (At least from my Hack to my iPhone/Macbook, maybe someone will fix this or already fixed and I don't know), Airdrop (both ways) XCPM Power Management (I use FrequencyVectors.sh by Pike R. Alpha for iMac 17.1, tried for 15.1 but 17.1 works better) USB 3.1 (Notice: The two ports above external antenna connectors work only with usb 3 devices I think bc of ASMedia 1142 witch is controlling those 2 ports directly) iMessage/Facetime/Appstore/iCloud . I hope I haven’t forget any lol. As I said, for me, everything works now.

Credits to RehabMan, Pike R. Alpha, wsmr, netkas, toleda, vit9696, Cosmo1t and all tonymacx86 amazing community !

NVIDIA MSI 960 drivers

Hi all, I'm new here, as many of us, so I'm sorry if I'm missing something very stupid about the nvidia drivers but it's the third time I'm installing Sierra due to incorrect driver installation.

(
First part completed with no issues, here is my build:
- ASUS X99 DELUXE (not 3.1 , not II) with updated UEFI
- Intel Haswell i7 5930K (6 core)
- MSI GTX 960 2G (the main problem)
- 128 GB RAM Gskill RIpjaws V DDR4 F4-3000C14Q2-128GVR
- SSD Crucial CT250MX 256GB
- Downloaded Mac Os Sierra 10.12.6

I installed clover not via unibeast but via terminal command
sudo /Applications/Install \ macOS \ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install \ macOS \ Sierra.app --nointeraction

Then downloaded the files as stated in guide I followed (clover included, I can show all passages and clover conf if the problem with MSI might be in this part), installed clover, replace files as needed.

Then setted BIOS exactly as stated by gentle dMatik
Intel XHCI = YES
XHCI HANDOFF =YES
EHCI HANDOFF=NO
EIST/TURBO=Enabled
CPU CSTATES=AUTO
CSMSUPPORT=DISABLED
SECUREBOOT=OTHER OS
SYNC ALL CORES, RATIO 43 MANUAL VOLTAGE 1.168)

Needed to boot from pen drive three times, then I was able to erase disk and install Sierra.
Once competed, re-set BIOS options to default, except the secureboot.
Now, all it's working well, USB, wifi, I installed drivers of my Mbox Audio Interface, even my touch screen.
I have not set disk booting yet (it was working in the previous attemps) but from pen drive Sierra boots normally.
)

NOW:
I need to install the nvidia drivers, how is the procedure for MSI 960?
In both guides I tried, when it comes to download the web-driver.pkg, the only one recognized was the 378.05.05.25f01.
All other newer version were rejected.

Thanks for all your efforts!!!
Guy
Hey, I think you should try high sierra, If you want I can post my efi for 10.13.6 and my bios settings. That guide for sierra is highly outdated, in my new setup I've followed KGP's amazing guide and all works flawlesly. All ! for the motherboard, there is no difference between asus x99 deluxe and asus x99 deluxe u3.1, apart for the usb 3.1 card.
