Hi @uar
Thank you for your hard work.
I have some questions.
1. Can we use nvidia gtx 1060 of this laptop? At least only gtx, not optimus?
2. Have you got any chance to test this with Razer Blade 2017?

Regards.

I tried that, but no luck. You will only be able to use Intel for the internal display. We can somehow make it to work for the external one, cause it's connected to HDMI, but it'll require DSDT patching. I don't have the early 2017 model.

macOS 10.13 Update!
  • macOS High Sierra is now available in the Mac App Store!
  • When you're updating Clover make sure you mount the EFI partition before running the installer or it will install in the system partition.
  • Delete LPSSI2C kexts from SLE to make the Trackpad work again.
  • You have to always extract the latest apfs.efi from the installer. I will update the bundle after each update so you guys have the latest driver, but if you want to find it:
Find it at:

- Install macOS High Sierra -> Show Package Contents -> Contents -> SharedSupport -> BaseSystem.dmg.

- In BaseSystem.dmg navigate to: usr -> standalone -> i386 -> apfs.efi

Place it in EFI\Clover\drivers64UEFI!

Does the trackpad work at least for 2 fingers scrolling and 2 fingers right click??

No, I never got the synaptic part to work. The driver included is only for basic functionality and don't support any gestures.

My plan is buying this laptop for music production (Ableton Live/Bitwig), but its looks like there's still some problem with the audio

It's terrible audio configuration on this thing in macOS, enjoy it in Windows if you plan to buy it. If you absolutely need macOS then consider building a desktop instead.

I completely disagree with UAR. I purchased this laptop specifically for music production and it works wonders. Audio routing has never been an issue for me, has switching between internal speakers and headphones( its just not automatic).

If you have got better Audio drivers for this machine, I'll be glad to test them!

Update:
  • I updated my firmware and bios yesterday and the fans are now normal. There's a firmware update uploaded in a new folder named "Windows Bundle", here I'll upload necessary configuration files for the machine only excutable in Windows.
  • I'll not upload the BIOS update as it replaces all ACPI tables and will make you start from scratch. Yup, I need to patch them again. Surprisingly I couldn't even boot in High Sierra after removing them in CLOVER\ACPI\patched in Windows...:thumbdown
