Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

I did everything according to the article. But I also had a problem when starting the installation of 10.12 (sierra)
A black screen with an apple logo in the middle is loaded, then a mouse and a gray background appear, but the language selection window and the top panel do not appear.
I waited more than an hour, then the laptop reboots.
I used the download flags:
-v ;
-v -x;
-v -x dart=0;
-v -x nv_disable=1;
-v -x dart=0 nv_disable=1
-v dart=0;

Kexts:
FakePCIID.kext
FakeSMC.kext
GenericUSBXHCI.kext (+/-)
VoodooPS2Controller.kext (+/-)
FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext (+/-)

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Maybe I'm already late with installing macOS Sierra 10.12, but still I will describe, maybe someone will need it.

I have:
Device: Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 (20287)
BIOS: unlocked, removed wifi whitelist, unlocked hidden bios features. unlocked bios
DVMT-prealloc: set to 96MB (in BIOS)
CPU: Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-4702MQ CPU @ 2.20GHz
HDD: SSD ADATA SU800 128GB
Ethernet controller: RTL806E (100mb / s) - Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E / RTL8102E
Chipset: Intel Corporation 8 Series / C220 Series Chipset
WIFI: Qualcomm Atheros, AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express)

1. Used "Legacy boot".
2. Patched DSDT.aml from this Guide
Applied patches: Fix _WAK Arg0 v2, HPET Fix, SMBUS Fix, IRQ Fix, RTC Fix, OS Check Fix, Fix Mutex with non-zero SyncLevel,
3. Kext used:
ACPIBatteryManager.kext
AppleALC.kext
FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext
FakePCIID.kext
FakeSMC.kext
Lilu.kext
RealtekRTL8100.kext
USBInjectAll.kext
VoodooPS2Controller.kext

AppleALC (ALC282) - (AppleALC.kext, Lilu.kext). Layout: 3.
Since version 1.1.0, AppleALC only works in conjunction with the patch Lilu!

@RehabMan, can you check, all are correct?
In my opinion from the user side, QE / CI works.
I have connected external monitor by HDMI (works fine).
I do not use sound in hdmi.
I did not cope with installing macOS High Sierra.
I usually lag behind the release of new versions of macOS.
Before that I still used El Capitan

Updated EFI
- deleted unused patches.
- added IntelGraphicsFixup.kext (avoid Safari crashes)
