So I leave AppleHDA.kext in other file and delete any other copies of it? and then repost all files

Because I have a copy in system/library/extensions as well as library/extensions. I'm not sure which one is the one to keep?

I can find no log entries that match: "Console/All Messages/kernel Sound Assertions - select/Save Selection As:"
Using speakers and mike in Apple LED Cinema Display. Aiming to connect 2-wire SPDIF header to external DAC via coaxial using a fitted SPDIF out module.
As noted earlier, Clover's config.plist on my boot drive is set up to inject Audio ID 2, but after booting into MacOS (10.12.6) the System Information report shows Audio/Intel High Definition Audio/Audio ID: 3, which is confusing me and i don't know where I'm going wrong.
(Note that the config.plist and IOReg file will differ form those first posted because I'm working to get my USB3 ports up and running.)
Hope this helps. Thanks for taking the time.

System/Library/Extensions
System may be unrepairable, consider clean install
I've deleted all applehda.kext files except for the system/library/extensions one. If a clean install is needed, I can do that. I was unable to attache applehda.kext file because I can't seem to find it when I click upload but it is present when I look in my Sierra folder through finder window except for that it is a light blue file unlike other bolder looking files in Sierra folder.

Thank you for your help,

1. Problems:

1. Audio only through green port. nothing from headphone jack on front.
2. No audio over mDP
3. When I run "audio_cloverHDMI-120.command_v1.0d" my audio devices disappear
4. The audio I do get is scratchy and popping. Again, only through green port and only when I inject audio to 1 or 2. If I inject to 3 I lose my devices.

2. Machine
OS 10.12.6 (Sierra)
i7700k kabylake
Asus Maximus VIII Hero / UEFI
GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050
Display mDP: DELL U3417W

3. I've tried many procedures and guides. The highlighted command is what breaks my audio devices

Audio only through green port. nothing from headphone jack on front.
See Post #1/I. No Sound/3. Front Panel
No audio over mDP
Post to HDMI Audio AppleHDA, off topic.
If I inject to 3 I lose my devices.
Audio ID: 3 is for HD3000/HD4000 HDMI audio only (6 and 7 Series motherboards)
ALC1220 does not support Audio ID: 3, result: no devices.
Use Audio ID: 1 for your motherboard.
The highlighted command is what breaks my audio devices
The script says Nvidia HDMI audio is enabled, no action required.
HDMI audio is off topic.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I have the wires switched on the front panel.

What about the fuzzy popping audio coming from green port though?
