Is this normal? All my USB ports seem to work, even the 2.0 ones. I get USB 3 speeds as well. Normally, I would just chalk it off as a cosmetic issue and call it a day, but I'm having a weird issue with my Iogear USB bluetooth controller. When I have it plugged in and synced with my keyboard/mouse...it works great. Even as far as going to sleep and waking from either the BT mouse or keyboard.
Except for one thing. Every once in a while (usually once a day), the system will not wake up and will be frozen (can't ping it, so network is off). I have to hard reset the system and when it comes back up, I have to pull out and reinsert the bluetooth USB module to see the kb/mouse again. Then it works fine for an entire day or so until it happens again.
Also, there was a single incident of my system hard locking when I inserted a SD card (using a USB adapter)...system completely froze up and I had to hard reset. I was using the Iogear module at the time.
I have since been using only USB mouse/kb (removed the Iogear adapter) for the last 2 days and have not had any incidents.
I'm running High Sierra and using onboard HD 530 graphics (need to update my profile). I'm using the 3rd Party USB 3.0 (GenericUSBXHCI.kext) and Increase Max Port Limit 100 Series options from MultiBeast.
Am I missing anything?
