All good for MSI-Z97M Gaming/i5 4690K/HD 4600. I installed from Apple Store I had to place FakeSMC in EFI/Clover/"Other" installed IntelGraphicFix and audio ALC 1150 with MultiBeast 9.2 So far so good. Very THANKS to Tonymac and others. Now I will tray to install MSI R9 280X if it works.

My High Sierra (KL Rig signature below) up and running with new 10.13 download from App Store following tonymacx86's guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...h-sierra-public-beta-installation-usb.225520/
Many thanks TonyMac and everyone else posting helpful Clover and 10.13 info!!

Had several KPs trying to install 10.12 on this rig - bit bullet and did clean 10.13 install using terminal and latest Clover from Sourceforge per tonymacx86's link above. SSD working under APFS.

Several restarts would be an .. err ... understatement! Needed some manual restarts to complete installation process.
At one point screen displayed a MacOSinstaller dialogue - Disk Utility indicated about 5 GB stored on SSD. After installation completed storage was about 11 GB. Keep restarting until the Mac setup screen is displayed!

Decided against using MultiBeast for post install. Downloaded and installed Clover onto SSD and added apfs.efi and replacement config.plist files using tonymacx86's instructions as for USB. Rig boots fast from SSD.

Update - 11/29:

- (Re)installed OS 10.3.1 using HFS+J format for internal drive by editing minstallconfig.xml in vi after first install reboot
- Installed Realtek ALC 887 audio including Series 200 MoBo fix - credit Toleda
- Installed TP-Link N900 Wi-Fi PCI card - registered on first reboot - 80211.n @ 2.4 GHz
- No resolution to HD630 sleep/wake problem. This machine either runs or gets shut down!
- Working on installing EVGA GTX 750 Ti as a possible solution to sleep/wake problem.

This is a work in progress. Will report back on Nvidia GTX 750 Ti install, etc.

Credits: Toleda - big time!

Thanks again everyone!!

Is the only way to get 4k60 to use Switchres? Ive been using RDM but cant seem to get 60 even with CoreDisplay patcher (although Im not entirely sure it worked to begin with)

I'm not entirely sure. Try going to System Preferences->Displays then hold ALT and click Scaled to get a full list of resolutions.

How did the update process go without a Multibeast specific for HS? Would you recommend waiting for MB 10?

Worked fine. I do everything manually. Only thing I need to change was KextToPatch for ALC892 which is done by CodecCommander not realtekALC or any AppleHDA Injectors. Was a 2 second fix.

I need to patch coredisplay... tried the lastest lilu + coredisplayfixup, my laptop end to a bootloop... mac pixel clock patch is not ready...
Well i reverse back to sierra until a solution is found for 4k screen laptop on high sierra, i pray for

According to Bastani in this thread it works for High Sierra. Did you use his compiled versions from here? They are not currently available under the releases section on GitHub.

I will be able to test it myself but I need to know if I can update to High Sierra with a dual boot SSD with Sierra + Windows 10. Also I'm not sure if I should use the APFS or HFS+ upgrade option and if I did go with HFS+ if I can upgrade to APFS later on.

EDIT: I just realized it was you who posted on the same thread I linked to.

Are you also using IntelGraphicsFixup and Shiki?

EDIT: I'm going to compile all the latest versions and will attach them to this post soon.
EDIT2: Lilu 1.2 + Plugins.zip
