Update from Sierra with HFS+ mod.

It's for macs which don't use EFI partitions in regular use, booting the backup from a complete Clover installation on another hard drive or USB drive should still work.
Heard this error can be caused by an ACPI table named MATS. If you see it again try dropping that table in Clover options.

Thanks for the info! This means that I can with peace in mind erase my old Sierra backup with the new one by CCC, and that this CCC copy is bootable without the USB clover bootmanager?

Honestly, this is a bit above my capabilities. I stick with Clover Configurator and do not dare to manually change config.plist, but thanks for the advice. I'll wait until the drop MATS is embedded in Clover Configurator.

Maybe you an idea on my latest update, the (windows) disk 1 I/O error?

Easiest upgrade ever! Stayed with HFS+, after install I run toleda’s Audio script and everything works fine! Thanks again Tony!!

I don't mount Windows disks in macOS but some are reporting the AHCI driver in 10.13 isn't able to read MBR NTFS partitions.

It already is in Clover Configurator, "ACPI", "Drop table" section, choose "MATS" from dropdown

I had to install the OsAptioFix2Drv-64 in order to get the installation started. Now I'm stuck after the 3rd reboot of the installation almost at the end of the progress bar. In verbose mode, this is the last I'm seeing. Any ideas where the problem might be?


Edit: I just aborted and booted from the system partition, which is now high sierra (10.13). However, the Preboot Volume remains (I deleted it, but it re-appears everytime I boot). It is also shown by Clover. No matter which Volume I select, I happen on the system, not sure if I can ignore it.



Onboard Audio (ALC892) works after running audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3.command.
USB works after I put USB_Series9_Injector.kext in the Clover kext folder.

Are they formatted in HFS+ or APFS?

Hi.
I try to follow the guide to update my computer to the latest osx 10.13 but I can not get it, when I start in "verbose" mode I can see that the installation stops at this line: "bsd process name corresponding to current thread unknown". I do not know what can happen the osx Sierra 10.12.6 works without any problem but 10.13 I can not install, I have tried installing it as an update and also create usb to make the installation clean, the two options will stop on the same line .. someone could you help me? What do I do wrong?
