Hi,

Just to be absolutely clear in my mind here. What settings are people using for

Enable SIP
Disable SIP

I have seen three or four different variations on this today (0x3FF 0x00 0x67 and some others) and I would like to be absolutely sure of setting "Enabled" and "Disabled" SIP before I go ahead and install my driver without hosing the install.

Thanks in advance

Amblin

enable SIP 0x0
disable SIP 0x67
SIP with audio?0x3FF

For some reason SIP always reminds me of that cartoon.

weird that people are needing NVWebDriverLibValFix.kext concidering one of biggest changes in 10.13 is the fact that they were refactored to not break library validation anymore making that kext moot. I am running fine and without issue and I do NOT have NVWebDriverLibValFix.kext installed. I suspect what's happening is 10.13 is far more strict with kexts adhering to apple rules, which means no breaking stuff, so if people are needing to modify or inject stuff into kexts sierra starts rejecting them and then NVWebDriverLibValFix.kext magically fixes them. since I don't run any mods (no injected HDMI audio etc) I don't need it? Totally guessing though

EDIT, talking to more users. it seems anyone using LiLu needs NVWebDriverLibValFix.kext for sure. I used toledo's script for audio not Lilu

I am new to Hackintosh and also to this forum.

I have tried almost everything suggested in this thread, after having the SIP enabled I was able to have the nVidia web drivers installed, but on reboot, I am stuck with this line showing on a blank screen
"IOConsoleUsers : gIOScreenLockState 3, ...."

then the screen goes blank and again the same line shows up.

I am able to get into the OS only using the -x and nvda_drv=1 checked at boot in clover.
Any help would be appreciated.

Which SMBIOS are you using? If you already installed the WebDrivers while SIP was disabled, you will need to add NVWebDriverLibValFix.kext. If you are using a System Definition that does not allow for Nvidia you will ALSO need Lilu and NvidiaGraphicsFixUp.kext. These can be injected through Clover and do not need to be installed into the System.

Is anyone else getting a error saying it didn't install right and my computer is getting a blank screen. Any idea how to fix this? How do I remove it? It won't uninstall normally is there a way over terminal?
I got this like notification bu after restart everything working. EVGA 980 TI

I am using the SMBIOS iMac 14,2 which worked for me on Sierra. SIP was enabled when the WebDrivers were installed (this was a fresh install of HS).

That makes sense, the patching must break validation. I don't have Lilu and don't need the LibVal anymore either.

I do not have Lilu or NvidiaGraphicsFixUp. But I tried them after it first fialed.

I have an issue with Cuda.

Update went ok, running CUDA Driver Version: 9.0.197 but I have no coda acceleration in Geekbench 4 or DaVinci Resolve and every time I reboot Cuda asks me to update but states no new driver available...

What is failing? Displays don't go beyond 2nd stage boot but remain powered on?
