I just followed the instructions of the first page and now OS doesn't boot, loading bar with logo remains there for a long time, and is not going further. I tried and achieve to boot the recovery, but not the OS. I followed the instructions as they are. Any idea of what's happening? :(
I'm having this same problem. very similar specs. Any help?

@Mingjoy I've had some luck!

This fixed my issue of the installer sticking at the apple sign

I followed the advice in this post... (ignore the kexts to patch part)

High Sierra is now installing :)
Thanks a lot, You are so kind!
I'll try it later, Thanks again.

To my surprise, my EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.12 is empty! I was going to copy everything over to Other. I don't think High Sierra will install without something in Other. Not sure why Multibeast doesn't install anything in that folder.

this is all very encouraging.... im wondering how many of my recent 'niggles' will be fixed by a fresh install....

Finally Installed version 10.13 successfully after 3 tries only by following the guide in the first post and by updating the clover to version Clover_v2.4k_r4220.zip at first i was receiving error cannot verify firmware.

those guys facing this issue its better give it a shot

Has anyone ran into the issue where the "Boot from macOS" option doesn't show up in clover after you started the install and the system reboots?

Thanks, I had the same issue and this fixed it.

Had someone tried to update to HIGH SIERRA and using M2. SSD like 950 / 960 PRO ?
I have 960 Pro and I can't update ...keep freezing !!!
Any ideas ? I use 1080 GTX but now I switched to onboard 530 intel. Thanks.

I also tried updating to High Sierra with my 960 Pro but had same problem so I used my 850 EVO to update then since my NVMe was native I didn't have to install any kexts and cloned my 850 EVO to my 960 Pro.

I experienced this issue when I upgraded with a legacy boot (non-UEFI). In the instructions it said:

Copy apfs.efi to /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/

This does not appear to be accurate if you are not booting UEFI. I dropped into the shell from the clover boot screen and copied apfs.efi to my drivers64 folder instead and rebooted. It saw it and everything worked after that.

UPDATE: TO many, this is probably obvious, but I'm a total noob at this as of last Friday. I figured it out pretty quickly.
