And I literally just installed my FirePro V4900 to Update to Sierra shiit xD
Well I'm glad they released it, and so quickly too maybe they just wanted to focus completely on the Sierra 10.13.0 Driver instead of making 9+ Beta Releases which would have made no sense at all

If you got the balckscreen, or the loading screen with the spinner, or unexpected reboot, like me, try this:
- Start in Single User Mode
- Mount the root foolder (/sbin/mount -uw /)
- Delete caches
- - rm -Rf /System/Library/Caches/*
- - rm -Rf /Library/Caches/*
- Delete NVIDIA Web Drivers
- - rm -Rf /System/Library/Extensions/*Web.bundle
- - rm -Rf /Library/Extensions/*Web.kext
- Reboot, at this time, use the param nv_disable=1
- Install the WebDrivers, ignore error.
- Reboot

PS: I've done a direct upgrade.

For the CUDA error, just follow this quick guide.

Cheers!

Thanks. I also have Sierra installed so I was able to boot into that and delete the web driver files from S/L/E L/E on the HS drive. I didn't bother clearing kext cache though and I was able to get back in without disabling Nvidia.

From there I tried different methods with SIP on /off but still do joy. I also tried different ports on my card but nope.

Not directly related to the web drivers, but for those with multiple nvidia cards having issues installing/upgrading-to high sierra, remove any extra cards you have to leave only one during the installation/upgrade process.

With multiple cards the macos installer keeps getting stuck when spawning the windowserver (you'll get a repeat of this over and over - com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.windowserver) <notice>: service only ran for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 10 seconds).

Once high sierra and the nvidia webdriver are installed, you can pile the extra cards back into the system without issue.

I find with injected 'connector-type' properties on the two ports i use, i get a blank screen (display is still on, and HDMI audio is working) at start up with any arrangement except for one monitor on the first port . Removing these properties and the ports work same as 10.12, but without HDMI audio. Edit: Fixed it by injecting connector-type for all 6 ports not just the ones i was using, maybe some sort of clue... Now everything is back to 'normal'

black screen too.

on Sierra I used Msbios of 14,2 and it worked but not same on High Sierra.

I'm waiting an official fixing.

Have you tried AGDPfix? I heard that after installing the driver, don't restart it immediately, run AGDPfix and wait for it (it takes some seconds).

Don't think 14,2 would need AGDPFix. For me the issue seemed to be audio related.

I'd like to confirm with others - maybe You have unusual GT 1030:
- On Sierra - everything fine - just small top bar glitches (smbios 14.2).
- On High Sierra - clean install - something is slowing down kexts - OpenGL extension viewer app is showing (at 0,5s) 400fps then slows down to 30 fps.
Overal experience is that my card is recognized but working at slow speed.
Any Ideas what to check? Another SMBios or AGPD fix?
