[SOLVED]Aspire v3 575 various issues

I've decided to finally take a crack at turning an old laptop into a hackintosh and so far so good but I've run into some snags and I'm wondering if anyone can give me a hand.

First off, thanks so much Rehabman for all of the really intricate in-depth resources on here, you're a legend and your guides helped me more than you could even know.

Here are the issues I'm running into.

• Battery info does not register. It always says 0% in sys prefs **SOLVED, Rehabman ACPIBatteryManager Kext**
• wifi doesn't work, I'm afraid I have a bad card 168c:003e **SOLVED, incompatible WiFi, will replace**
• multi-touch doesn't work even after installing Voodoops2controller 0901. without voodoo ps2 trackpad and keyboard do not work at all. **SOLVED, Used ELAN driver instead of Synaptics PS2 driver**
• Sound doesn't work. I installed RealtekALC
• I have gone through the process of fixing the screen brightness and all works as expected.

I'm close, but it's still tough to use without some basics and I'm hoping someone can help me out!

Hey Rehabman,

I've gone through the FAQ's and have gotten a few issues fixed but the trackpad issue persists. I can't use any multitouch functions whatsoever. I can use it as a standard mouse and the primary and secondary clicks aren't really consistent.
Any ideas why it doesn't function as intended?

Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Hey Rehabman,

Thank you for your patience. The only thing I'm not able to provide is my motherboard chipset identification. I don't have any other os on this laptop. Is there a way for me to find it in macOS?

Your trackpad is ELAN, but you have Synaptics PS2 kexts installed.
Search for ELAN PS2 kexts.
