I used AppleALC with no boot args and it works great! No audio issues at all.

Hi, I'm getting:
Code:
Download ALC892 files ...

% Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current

Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed

  0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 --:--:-- 0:01:15 --:--:-- 0curl: (7) Failed to connect to raw.githubusercontent.com port 443: Operation timed out

unzip: cannot find or open /tmp/ALC892.zip, /tmp/ALC892.zip.zip or /tmp/ALC892.zip.ZIP.

Error: No Realtek ALC892 Beta files

No system files were changed

Is this a problem my end or is anyone else experiencing this?

Internet working?
Yeah working fine, it's odd as I cant download the script from the link in the first post, but it let me download the entire 'audio_CloverALC' repo as a zip then I got the script from there.

It seems I can't access any raw.githubusercontentxxxx URL.
Is there anything new on high Sierra that could be causing this?...I take it you can access this URL fine?

Edit: Its something to do with my ISP I think, works fine through my VPN, panic over.

I has no sound with internal speaker output. Lineout has sound but wrong speaker. Only rear speaker not front speaker.
10.13 beta worked well.

I tried both applealc and cloveralc

So i reported more details on reported threat

Hi guys, i just updated from sierra to high sierra and audio is not working (no sound, output device detected)

steps i have done:
1. run audio_cloverALC-130.sh
2. copy SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-1.aml to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched
3. Rename HDAS-HDEF patch
4. Disable SIP, then re-run audio_cloverALC-130.sh again
5. Making sure speaker is working perfectly, turned on, not muted, and plugged in to the correct green jack. Tried plugging it into front panel and still no sound.
6. I tried reinstalling drivers with multibeast again but for some reason it won't detect my macintosh HD (APFS maybe?)

My motherboard is MSI B-150M Gaming Pro AC, with realtek alc887 (according to msi.com), audio works perfectly fine in sierra 10.12.6 with just Multibeast ALC887 and Intel 100/200 series audio drivers. Running audio_codecdetect_v2.3.command yield this result

Code:
File: audio_codecdetect.command_v2.2

HDMI audio codec(s)
Intel: 0x80862809

Onboard audio codec
Realtek: 0x10ec0887
Name: Realtek ALC887
Audio ID: 1

Valid audio codec, audio device and Audio ID; audio injection is working

Running audio_cloverALC-130.sh once again yield the result in the attachment
