Exacltly. Nobody is following a set definaition these days. Most people call devices PC. I don't own a PC portable device, I own an PC. I may own a PC but if you ask it's a PC. If you say PC most people are going to think Windows PC. If someone says they have a PC and don't specifically say it's a PC then it's assumed it's a Windows PC. A PC owner will ALWAYS make sure you know their PCis a PC.

just wanted to make sure that i can update straight from sierra to high sierra or have to make a fresh install?i tried to update to beta but it didnt work and i hav nvme drive so APFS is no problem or is it ?..

Yesterday I installed high sierra GM on my skylake pc with samsung sm961 and everything worked OOB even HDMI audio on my amd 280x worked instantly so I am very happy with this version of OS

We're working on the Uni/Multi- Beasts for High Sierra as I post this. We'll have new guides for the early adaptors when the HS release is announced.
However, an olde coaches saying is, "Don't rush to fail!" So, unless your masochistic, I'd wait for the HS announcement dust to settle and the tonymacx86 guides are posted.

Excellent advice. Given Apple's recent history, I'm in no race to see what 10.13 breaks. I'll sit back and let others find the problems and solutions. Good luck to all.
