How to enable 'Kaby Lake' Intel 6xx Graphics (10.12.6+)

Status
Not open for further replies.
Rolled back to Sierra 10.12.6 and the glitches appeared again. This only works on High Sierra (choosing iMac 18.1).
On High Sierra, when I choose iMac 18,1 smbios, I get no glitches except when I shutdown or restart. The screen fades out and then changes to a solid turquoise colour until it shuts off.

No advice possible without "Problem Reporting" files.

Strange.
I have the exact same hardware config like you and I have not glitches.
The only problem is refresh rate higher then 60 hz...

The glitches I have are these little dots on the upper right of the screen (see the attached photo) when I leave a fullscreen app.
Can you upload your clover folder so I can take a look to see if I'm missing something?

EDIT: I don't have have any kexts installed in /System/Library/Extensions/ (apart from the ones that come with macos). I have all the extra kexts in the EFI partition. Does that make any difference?

Why do you have OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi *AND* OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi?
Those two files are mutually exclusive.

@RehabMan Try your method, no work either. Glitches still appear on menubar icon.

Hi
attached my clover folder.
I installed everything to S/L/E

Thanks. I tried your files and I still get the glitches.

@LinkinPark879The only way it works for me (without any glitch), is on the latest High Sierra beta using iMac's 18.1 smbios and by not injecting intel. If I inject I get a turquoise screen when rebooting.

Finally got this installed right. But now I have a problem with dual monitor. Works sometimes, sometimes not. Both HDMI

I have a dell business computer Optiplex 7050 with Intel i7-7700 and HD630.
And I could not enable the full power of HD630 which has only 7mb graphic memories.
My system verision is 10.12.6
I'm so appreciated anyone can help me figure out the problem and here's my clover config
Thanks for your help

Set config.plist/Devices/FakeID/IntelGFX=0x59128086
Very appreciated to your help, but it still doesn't work and the log still said that
"[IGPU] Graphics driver failed to load: could not register with Framebuffer driver!"
