Second time calling apple support regarding the customer code error. They took control of screen and rlly ended up just giving the support pin yet still NOTHING. It's rlly weird like sometimes my account works and it will log in for like 5 seconds and then just give me the error. (The apple customer support representatives suggested at how iPhones are commonly used to verify accounts so idk if that's why). I'm going to wait 24 hours but I rlly don't see anything that I could have done wrong. If anybody has any ideas please do share them. Thank you

So it sounds like you have taken all the steps I have. I swear I'm cursed with this s***. I've called Apple twice to apply codes (each different ones) and still get the same message (even after the bloody code was applied). I've regenerated system definitions three times, tried two different Apple ID's, and cloned my real iMac values... still error f-ing 31. The only account I can get to work is my family's account (probably because there are like 4 real Macs on it)

Any other ideas?

Called them as well and gave them the code, still didn't work. They told me they will call me back.
I think it's a no-go...

Just a question, what is your hardware?
I have:
Asus H97 UEFI
BRCM4390 WiFi BT
(Thats really all that could affect it, right?)

Oh yeah btw, if it still fails after they call you back, give up. Trust me. I tried to keep the conversation going to see if they could point me in the right direction. After a week they got annoyed and I think they noticed the hackintosh on my account with an invalid SN. So yeah

an application to create an MLB value ...? other means to create MLB ..? imessage and facetime no longer active in my hackintosh ..! what could have happened ...?

I'm still waiting for them. They're telling me that my account is in escalation mode...

Hello everyone,
I think I am very close to get iMessage working(on my hack at least). Before this method I was able to login once but get an activation error in preferences then customer code error. So, I have decided to install once again but make everything perfect(almost) this time and it almost worked. I have done these differently this time;
-Stopped using mbr patch(didn't want to format hdd so I was using the patch) and installed on gpt formatted drive.
-Used a real mac address for ROM(from Apple mac address range).
-Booted from hdd instead of usb.
-Fixed nvram.
With this setup I was able to login and have no activation error in preferences. But my account was still inactive and after relaunching messages it requested login and gave customer code.
I have no error codes regarding messages(last time there was many errors). But still, there were some errors. "calendar error: sql cached statement NSSQLiteStatement <0x....>"(6-7 like this)
And there was a different behavior this time, after trying iMessage none of my other devices asked my password.
Btw, I have en0, no old hacks in icloud, clock is correct, using fresh serial mlb smuuid etc, imessagedebug is consistent, verified account, no ip ban I guess(my MacBook pro can login and out).
Please help me, I am out of ideas. Thanks everyone for your efforts.
P.S. Should I call Apple? Last time I called them and it didn't work but this time I feel like it might work.
Edit: I now have a working recovery partition too.

hi there,

I followed P1LGRIMs guide to the letter and it worked flawless :headbang:(facetime no errors, icloud no errors, app store no errors) for me despite my computer illiteracy ;-) Kudos, OP really delivered!:clap:
Now i'm having a new problem: messages quits unexpectedly and is so unfortunately unusable.

This is on the old rig as described in the sig, but now running on Sierra 10.12.6 (which I put off moving to, much too long...), the user account was also moved from a time machine backup from last year. this account is verrrry old, I think I have it since os x came out, and it was used on former macs which had messages working under Lion and moved on to the hack which also started with Lion respectively Mountain Lion.

My search with google for "messages sierra quit unexpectedly" and "messages quit unexpectedly" didn't bring up to much, that's why I'm asking here for help.

Among the few things I found was: https://www.hackintosh-forum.de/index.php/Thread/30683-Messages-application-opens-and-closes/

with the recommendation to delete a few files, restart and it should run. I followed these instructions and all worked aside of one line, which returned an error:

myMachine:~ user5$ cd ~/Library/Caches/
myMachine:Caches user5$ rm -R com.apple.Messages*rm: com.apple.Messages*: No such file or directory
myMachine:Caches user5$ rm -R com.apple.imfoundation*
myMachine:Caches user5$ cd ~/Library/Preferences/
myMachine:preferences user5$ rm com.apple.iChat*
myMachine:preferences user5$ rm com.apple.imagent*
myMachine:preferences user5$ rm com.apple.imessage*
myMachine:preferences user5$ rm com.apple.imservice*
myMachine:preferences user5$ rm -R ~/Library/Messages/

looking at the logs reveals nothing for me, here's an excerpt of the last one hth:

I can paste the rest also, but this would make this post even longer as it already is...

Many thanks in advance for looking into this, this would be a major milestone on the way to a fully functional hack again!

I tried with all online tutotial but iMessage don't work. it says "an error occurred during activation". What can I do?
