Hey folks, I am trying to get my native audio working so I can stop using Voodoo hda, as the latter gives me nasty feedback with headphones. I was looking to patch applealc(I am open to suggestions, though) , just not sure what codec I have. I have attached my linux codec dump, just not sure how to go about getting the info needed from the dump.

Codec: Intel Haswell HDMI, wrong codec
Try address: 2
I tried running the command with diffferent codec numbers but it says "directory does not exist".

When I ran "cat /proc/asound/cards" , I get:

cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [HDMI ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel HDMI
HDA Intel HDMI at 0xb5810000 irq 47
1 [PCH ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH
HDA Intel PCH at 0xb5814000 irq 46

Codec and controller for Intel HDMI audio
Attach a copy of IOReg
Here ya go.

I dont have an audio icon showing up , nor any audio devices when going under system preferences. I uninstalled voodoo(which works) before doing my ioreg

I've tried numerous methods including patching my applehda to leaving it stick and using ALC and lilu kexts. I keep getting sound assertion error when booting with verbose.
