Awesome, thanks for all the details.

Okay, now I get the relationship between official release and UniBeast/MultiBeast that is designed for the Public release.

What's the time (usually) between the public release and updated UniBeast/MultiBeast?

Parts are starting to pile up on the corner of my desk, and I'm not sure I'm that patient!?!

Thanks for the help.

Used High Sierra Beta Guide:

• Hit Customize and install Clover to the same USB Checking:
☑ Install for UEFI booting only
☑ OsxAptioFix2Drv-64

Click INSTALL! It will Complete the install!

An EFI Partition to the Installer USB will mount in the Finder! If it doesn’t mount, use EFI Mounter App to mount it!

-Navigate to /EFI/CLOVER/ and replace default config.plist with one of the attached config.plist examples.

-Navigate to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/ and add FakeSMC.kext

-Navigate to EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/ and add apfs.efi

-Go through Installation & Registration Process!

POST INSTALLATION:

Clover Configurator nor EFI Mounter can’t find Config.plist. This might have to do with APFS as a container and may be the reason why I don’t have Audio, USB 3, and Native HDMI & DisplayPort.

I mounted the EFI from the Installer USB & NVMe Partition with Clover Configurator, Copied the EFI Folder from The Installer USB and placed it in the EFI Partition of NVMe.

Unmounted the USB Installer EFI.

-Navigated to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/ and added AppleALC.kext, Lilu.kext

I have it running except that the Audio, (USB 3 ports), Native HDMI & DisplayPort and needing kexts to operate. I don’t have Thunderbolt components to test. CHECK Peripherals

mrclassicrecord THANKS!!!

Amazing guide. I'm going to pull the trigger and start the build tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for all the info.
Your welcome! I am working getting help with the (USB 3) and Audio!

Also the Buying Guide after High Sierra consumer is released is going to be off the chain with AMD components!:)

  • Ok, can’t boot from that usb. It’s not recognizing it. Hmmm.

    Any tips?
Make sure you use a 16GB USB drive to be safe, place FakeSMC.kext to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/

  • and EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/ and add apfs.efi

And the Attached config.plist at /EFI/CLOVER/

Config.plist Examples (From High Sierra Beta, Download guide)

Finally got it up and running.

Thanks for the help. Feel like I'm in a holding pattern till they release the GM. Any clue on the lag time between that and updated graphic drivers, multibeast, etc? (come on, you've got a crystal ball, right?)
