Smooth update, but it's getting tiresome not having web drivers, earlier betas we have been given beta drivers but this time..
I have a feeling we won't be seeing web drivers anytime soon.. if at all.

If someone did a clean install of this Public Beta 8, can you please upload latest APFS.efi here which you can get it from the installer image of MacOS High Sierra Public Beta 8.
the link to do that is here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/install-high-sierra-public-beta-to-a-new-partition-apfs.226446/
A post that @vulgo did a few weeks ago.

Thanks !
If you have upgraded, the driver is at /usr/standalone/i386 - not sure posting proprietary binaries is allowed

Thanks man, it was at that location,i did upgrade fine but just wanted to update the file on my clover folder too.
about posting propietary binaries not sure either, but i think others did that previously, not really sure if its allowed or not.

Thanks a lot.

pac mac were u able to control brightness using your nvidia 1080 8 gb ram video card

with some modded gpu drivers, i dont recommend it though since it does not support metal or opengl
It does depend what GPU you are using. My GTX 750 Ti should be OK with the GPU driver patches your are referring to. Would just like to know the link so that I can acquaint myself with the procedure. Greets
