If upgrading from beta 5 to 6 move network kext from L/E/ to desktop and reboot and putback network kext again.
It was a clean install. I have found a temporary solution. Instead of installing FakeSMC, NullCPUManagement, VoodooPS2 and Realtek Ethernet via Multibeast, Kext Beast or official pkg installers, I have copied them on the Clover kext folder on the EFI partition. I knew that ethernet worked on the installer pen drive. But now I can not find a way to install kext sensors to run HWMonitor, if the situation persists into RTM and I shall be forced to install kexts this way. I have found some different versions of the kexts, uploaded by RehabMan in different repositories and I could find a way to install them properly.

Testing this version on a X9DAi and dual Sandy Xeon CPUs , difficult...

Couldn't get passed the kernel panics (ACPI), only way to do that is to replace AppleACPIPlatform.kext with the one from Sierra.

Results is that I get to boot in it, but system is laggy, only one CPU seem to be loaded to the max and the rest don't reach much, patched AICPM to get PM per Stinga method, the SSDT gets recognised properly but lag and CPU problem persists.

Any help appreciated.

Any has the green screen appearing when shutting down or restarting?

Uncheck/disable "Inject Intel" in Graphics section of clover configurator.

i've disabled it(Kaby Lake is native supported) but still have this "issue"

Least painful upgrade yet between betas. I have heard that you no longer need to boot from an EFI without EmuVariables64 kext but I did anyway:
- use App Store update, click restart when prompted
- boot from USB stick Clover with no EmuVariables64 kext, select "installer" partition (seemingly a temporary partition the installer creates and destroys when done)
- arrive at secondary installer, let installer run, reboot
- boot as normal to working new beta

Again I've heard that EmuVariables64 no longer causes the osinstall.mpkg error during secondary install with this latest beta but haven't tested.
Hey AOL!

I built the rig:

* GIGABYTE Z270X-UD5 1151

* Intel I7-7700K

* AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB

* Ballistix Sport LT 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200)

• SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 500GB NVMe

* OWC 240GB Mercury Accelsior E2

* 500 GB SSD Scandisk

* Dual SeikiPro 27” 4K Monitors

Used High Sierra Beta Guide:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...h-sierra-public-beta-installation-usb.225520/

Used Clover 4184 and only injected FakeSMC.kext

I did the basic USB creation using your (AnAppleADay’s) config.plist & BIOS settings:

BIOS settings: Loaded optimized defaults, changed storage boot option control to UEFI, disabled SW guard extensions, disabled the serial ports, enabled XHCI Hand-off, disabled VT-d.

The first boot was from the USB and I installed unto the NVMe, It auto re-booted, I press F-12 and booted from the NVMe and continued the install, It auto re-booted, I press F-12 and booted from the NVMe and the install got to the third re-boot and the NVMe drive and any other drives disappeared and only the USB Install drive is present.

I created a few iterations of the Install USBs of Betas 10.12.55 & 10.12.57 and the stock config.Plist, to no avail. It still installs until it reaches the last boot stage and the drives disappear.

I also only formatted the drives as GUID, Mac OS X (Journaled), but I did try to use APFS a few times, still didn’t work.

Thanks for pointing out the Installer makes a temporary partition that is disappearing. I am in the middle of trying using EmuVariables64 in Clover to see if that works.

I would appreciate any help as to why no drives appear after the installer tries to install High Sierra!

UPDATE!!!!!!!! I tried the using "EmuVariables64" and it won't even start the install.

I'm not using Clover Configurator. I am using RehabMan's guide for the High Sierra Beta installation.

Install high sierra beta 7 on your hard drive. Boot into Hard Disk Error .....

Update Clover to latest version.

The problem is also, traditionally, caused by booting with a clover that has the emuvariables64efi kext in its kexts folder. My process is to boot with a usb stick with the latest clover and without this kext, that gets me past this error.
