I have audio working on my Dell 9350 (ALC256 codec) using CloverHDA, CodecCommander and ALC256 SSDT. The headphone port works as does the internal speakers but there is an annoying background static from the headphone port. Internal speakers are clear and crisp with no static. Also when the amp shuts down after a pause in audio, there is a loud pop noise then the static goes away. Is there any solution? Thanks.

I don't know if this is related, but your ACPI configuration is wrong.
With patched SSDTs, you need DropOem=true and SortedOrder to specify SSDT load order.

I changed that but the issue still persists.

Here you go.

No files in ACPI/origin. You forgot to press F4. Please read "Problem Reporting" carefully.

And still your ACPI configuration is wrong. You did not specify SSDT load order with SortedOrder.

I am not sure how to enable SortedOrder in my config.plist. Could you please explain? I have updated the Clover folder with the orgin files from pressing F4. Thanks for your help.

After that change the problem is still there.

Probably due to a mismatch in the pathmaps or a mismatch in SSDT-ALC256.aml.
(eg. your codec may be slightly different than other ALC256).
