osxAptioFix2Drv error

Status
Not open for further replies.
I have clover EUFI installed on a mavericks install, and that does not boot the machine.

But I tried a USB bootloader with an older OSX version and it had the chameleon bootloader on it. I can access the HDD from the USB stick, and boot to it without GPU acceleration.

When I try Clover booting to Mavericks, I get the OsXAptipFixDrv: Error message.

If I can get this error fix, it will bring me/my machine back to life. Thank You, Nick

But I tried a USB bootloader with an older OSX version and it had the chameleon bootloader on it. I can access the HDD from the USB stick, and boot to it without GPU acceleration into both Mavericks or Sierra. This Problem of "OsXAptipFixDrv: Error" Occurs in Mavericks but not Sierra. I want to resolve this: OsXAptipFixDrv: Error to get the machine booting into Mavericks.

When I try Clover booting to Mavericks, I get the OsXAptipFixDrv: Error message while using a prior successful Clover UEFI install. I also used the HP ProBook Installer app to get most all the hardware working in Mavericks.

If I can get this error fix, it will bring me/my machine back to life.

Attached are an IO registry report, the AMD 6000 controller (that is contained in the info.plist and the version.plist) and the zipped EFI file.

And here is the config.plist file. Is there anything else needed? Thank You, Nick

Here are the troubleshooting/problem reporting files uploaded. The info and version plist files belong to the AMD 6000 controller. I also uploaded the AMD controller kext as zipped.

I would abandon Mavericks if I could get the video card (Radeon HD 6460M/actual 6760) card working in Sierra as I dont get the boot error in Sierra, but no luck with GPU recognition.

Hello, what files am I missing for the troubleshooting files? One of my posts above has the EFI zip file, io registry file, config.plist, amd AMD controller settings. Please advise as to what other troubleshooting files the forum would need. Thank You, Nick

EFI was no requested. Please attach only EFI/Clover as per request in the FAQ. It will be much smaller than 20mb.

Hello Rehab Man, can you tell me what to remove in the directory drivers64UEFI?

I changed the EFI directory to match the guide as close as possible. Please see attached screen grab or the zipped clover folder.

What drivers to remove or add? The HP fan patch driver is from the HP Pro Book Installer app. I assume once the "drivers64UEFI" directory is fixed, then the machine will boot again?

thanks

Try what you have and see what happens.
