Continuity and Handoff Capable Apple Mini Cards + PCIe and mini-PCIe Adapters

Just installed one of these on my z270x-ud5:
BCM94360CD BCM94331CD
works great, thx Tony once more for all your informations here.
As an addition: It didn't work first, mobo gave me five beeps when I tried the PcieX 1x slot closest to the cpu. Then I installed the card to the slot furthest from the cpu. First green LED turned on, WLan worked. After connecting the USB cable from the card adaptor to an internal USB socket the second LED turned on. All good now.

I don't understand. You bought this: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00WCP2LAI/?tag=tonymacx8603-21 and just plugged it in? Don't you need some additional module or something into this PCIe card? Where I have to connect these antennas? Sorry for dumb questions.

Got one of those cards today. Everything seemed to work, except for Continuity. Logged out of and then back in to iCloud on both the computer and the iPhone, and Wi-Fi calling stopped working - in addition to the above-mentioned woes. Have spent hours already, but the only wireless feature that is still operational is AirDrop. Any ideas?

Fixed the calls by trashing /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist . Continuity still not there..

Has anyone tried sticking this into an M.2 Slot? It's sorta my last option because the new motherboard I'm getting doesn't have any Pci X1 slots (which are needed to support Bluetooth AND WiFi simultaneously)

It honestly took me awhile to figure this damn thread out too... So the "card" everyone is talking about is an M.2 wifi chip from Apple. This is the main thing you need to get the continuity to work.
It started to get confusing when people said you NEED the adapters that go with it. But in reality, all you really need the adapters for are to convert the M.2 to PCI-e or whatever suits your board.
So I just bought this, which is the "card," and this, which is the PCI X1 "adapter" so it will fit in my motherboard. VERY confusing for me too, so you're not alone.

And yes, the person who just plugged an adapter in his board and thinks it works... should leave the community.

Yeah, I didn’t even know some “M.2” is a thing in motherboard as I am using old Dell motherboard in my optiplex, which is working very good anyway btw. But also I ordered yeterday from aliexpress card Fenvi FV-T919 which should work perfectly with hackintosh too (at least everybody confirmed it here). Next problem was I thought I am fu**ed up as my PCIe 1x is unavailable due to GTX 950 gpu which is 2-slot card and is just next to that slot. But again, everyone including seller of the card said, that even when I put it to the PCIe 16x it should work.

Now my biggest worries are, that it’s price of the card is over 50€ (its from China) and here in EU are some problems if the customs officers find out the product I bought out of EU is higher than 22€. Amazon is not thing for us in EU, so the only way I find was aliexpress. I hope so much everything will be fine and work as well.

Sorry for this shitpost, needed to tell it to the world :shh:

Anybody have a good recommendation for H270-WIFI board, i actually have a Apple original [URL='http://amazon.com/?tag=tonymacx86com-20[/URL] but is there something better and fully compatible?

I don't know what could be more compatible with hackintosh than the original WiFi/BT card from Apple.
