macOS 10.12.6 Update

Update via store, all working, no problems :)

Just update and change the System definition from 17,1 to 18,3. Not noticed any performance variation yet but better power consumption.

Do not forget to update Lilu.kext and/or NvidiaGraphicFixup in order to get the new Webdriver working for Nvidia graphic cards :)

Today Apple released 10.12.6, the sixth major update to macOS Sierra. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the Mac App Store, or by using the standalone installer available from Apple.com.

Be sure to back up any important data, and if possible clone your hard drive before applying the update. If you have any issues post-update, boot using UniBeast created USB, press spacebar, and boot using Safe Mode.

What we know about 10.12.6 so far...
  • macOS Build 16G29
  • Kernel updated to Darwin 16.7.0
  • Native support for Intel's 7th generation 'Kaby Lake' CPUs.
  • Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers
  • This update will replace your audio drivers. If you enabled Realtek onboard audio using MultiBeast or the cloverALC script, no changes will be necessary.
  • Install macOS Sierra App has been updated - If you downloaded macOS Sierra from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. The updated 10.12.6 Install macOS Sierra App can be found in the Applications folder. You may then re-create your UniBeast installation USB.
Testing is now underway- this post will be updated. Good luck, and let us know how it goes! Report your results here.

Update went smooth! Audio and trim good after update. Just install new Nvidia web driver and we are back up and running!

Updated via the App Store. Was the most easiest update in a while. Not like 10.12.5 which was a pain. Sound worked no need to reinstall audio.

Updated today 22/7/2017, only issue so far is Video, the Update nVidia came up , installed everything is now back to normal. Audio, Video, USB all A OK.
I list my build in my Profile\.

Update worked great! Installed via app store, reboot, then installed Nvidia update and reboot.

Will soon text to see if this fixes my display sleep / wake issue.

The update seems to have messed up my power management. Earlier I had XCPM going, with full speedstepping working for my 5820K. Now I am stuck with the processor going full blast and the computer restarting automatically in a few minutes of startup.
