UPADE HERE:>>> 10.15.3 CATALINA UPDATE
Hi everyone, I finally (after 2 weeks) got my Hackintosh to boot!!!
And I'm sharing my experience in the form of a 7min easy to follow Video Tutorial with files attached.
Before this video starts, you will need to do the following:
1. Make a Bootable USB with OSX Sierra 10.12.5
2. DOWNLOAD THE FILES: -->> https://goo.gl/7gB7se
2. Mount the EFI Partition and drop in the provided EFI folder
00:00 UEFI BIOS § 01:45 OSX install § 03:20 Post Installation § 05:32 Test and thoughts
Specs:
ASUS ROG Strix Z270G Gaming - Motherboard
--- Intel HD630 - Full accelerated graphics
--- Bluetooth 4.0 - Working
--- Audio - Working
--- USB 3.0 - Working
--- WiFi on board - NOT Working!
--- Ethernet - Working
Intel i7 7700K KabyLake - CPU
Samsung EVO 960 250GB NVMe - m.2 SSD
HyperX 16GB 2400MHZ - RAM
NZXT Kraken x61 - Water Cooling
Corsair CX550M - PSU
Phantex Evol Entoo mATX - case
WiFi - USB Dongle
Known faults:
* Does not wake from sleep
- - - temp fix = System Pref / Energy Saver: Computer Sleep = Never
* Microphone sound is noisy
I followed some guides, and they were terrible! It was the blind leading the blind: "install this kext using this utility, that kext using another utility, add code here, patch code there, try this, try that, almost no explanation to what's actually happening and then start all over again...
It was a huge trial and error journey for me, and for this reason I wanted to simplify the process to the maximum.
I was looking for the easiest way to achieve a working install. so Now anyone with the ASUS Strix z270 + KaybyLake + NVMe combo would have a "working start" on Sierra 10.12.5 and from here feel free to use clover, patches and more kexts
Please Note, that I am working on a guide, this is only my "progress so far".
