First build, new motherboard, new to macOS ...: see Before You Install Audio

Installation - HFS/APFS, native AppleHDA.kext, install one method only

A. MultiBeast/High Sierra: Available soon after High Sierra Release

B. cloverALC
  1. Download/View Raw/audio_cloverALC-130.command.zip
  2. Mount EFI/EFI Mounter v3
  3. Double Click Downloads/audio_cloverALC-130.command
  4. Enter Password
  5. Answer questions (y/n)
  6. Terminal/Shell/Export Text As...
  7. Restart
C. AppleALC/AppleALC: Native macOS HD audio

Problems
- No audio devices/Installation failure

Will there be some version with support up to 192khz ?
 
CloverALC is still the absolute Best Method for getting Audio to work with ALC 1150 and Sleep + CodeCommander

I am puzzled. I just upgraded my Skylake build from Sierra 10.12.6 to High Sierra DB7 and audio is working, just refreshed it with Multibeast 9.2.0 for Sierra 10.12...
I there anything else I should be doing as far as audio is concerned?
