Hey Guys!

I have this annoying issue for some time now, and I have just upgraded cpu & mobo but the issue did not go away.

Here is the issue:
Sometimes after the hackintosh's screen sleeps (screen only, Mac never sleeps) OR when the Mac is idle for some time (but the screen is still on) what is shown on the screen lags a lot (mouse pointer does not). It almost looks like it is skipping frames. After about 1 or 2 minutes everything goes back to normal.

I'm attaching a video of the problem.. The lag was not too heavy in the video, but you can still see the difference. At the end of the video the problem stops.

I have the same issue with 1050 Ti. The source of problem is in nvidia drivers. Tried to work about a week on Intel graphics and never met that problem.

Mmh.. so anyone with a Pascal card has this issue? It really drives me nuts :(

Does anyone else have this issue with Pascal card? I'm wondering if my card might be faulty..

BreBo, actually the temporary fix did not work :(

Once the problem occurred, I activated the hot corner to sleep the display, waited 1 second, woke up the display. However, the problem was still there.. After around 20-30 seconds it disappeared, as normally does.

Also, I have a 1080 not a 1060.. :(

Any other ideas?

Thanks!
