Hi there,

you would need to do a DSDT patch with your own extracted files, as you most likely will have a different bios version, CPU and other minor components might vary as well...
All of what you mentioned are related and can be solved by DSDT patches.
a good starting point is: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/
keeping in mind that this is for El Capitan.
There is no real turn key solution in this situation unless you find someone with the exact same laptop Bios version (and CPU).

I patched AppleHDA according to your specific codec info, you should test and reply back.
I included a fully patched AppleHDA.kext as well as a so-called 'dummyHDA' kext (AppleHDA_CX20590.kext). If you choose to go with the dummyHDA kext, you should have vanilla/untouched AppleHDA.kext in /S/L/E as well as the binary patch to be applied to 'AppleHDA' in your config.plist, I attached the code you should paste to it... Also don't forget to apply the layout-id 3 to your DSDT as well as the IRQ patch.

Please test and reply back.

Hi,

I would advise you to go opencore and do the step by step guide as described on their forum.
I am no longer maintaining the Vostro as a hackintosh, due to VirtualBox not playing nice with hackintosh and for my purpose a Windows + VB made more sense.
Thank you very much for your suggestions, please help me, I don’t know how to do it, thank you very much!
