Hey Lyxandrah,

Rehabman is correct. It is an M.2 / NGFF 2230. This is what it looks like

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0156DVQ7G/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

It is a Broadcom BCM94352Z. You can also get a DW1560 (that is the Dell model number).

My trackpad just works with the kexts listed throughout this thread. I don't recommend using it however. Just plug in a mouse. The trackpad sucks on this laptop.

Good luck
I'll be grabbing this specific card next week. How did you manage to get Audio to work? I've followed the whole DSDT patching guide (IRQ Fix + Layout-Id thing), tried using patched AppleHDA and had a look at another thread by RehabMan (Regarding a Lenovo u430 which has the same audio) but nothing seems to work. I either get no audio codecs at all (Speaker icon is there but no slider) or plain no sound (With speaker slider being there).

Hey,

Sorry for the late reply. I was away for a few days.

To be honest, I got the audio working once BUT it was really difficult and trial and error (I've since had to do several re-installs). I didn't document the process either so I have no notes. I have several really good USB gaming headsets, so I just go the USB audio route. To me the internal speakers are so useless anyways as they sound terrible, and you will save yourself a whole world of pain by simply going USB.

Hope that helps.

Sorry, i know this thread is old now but can you give me your config.plist and list of kexts you have used?

I have the same laptop but my HD4600 only have 7MB of vram
