Hey PenPedin, you need to try using kali linux because i'm using the kali linux to make boot entry.
Please reply to us so we can know it if it is ok or not.
Thanks!
Thanks for the reply but sadly it didn't work. i downloaded Kali and created the bootable USB but no luck on creating the EFI partition, it still doesn't appear on the boot options. Any more ideas? I am willing to try anything. I would also like to point out that last time I had this working was on Mountain Lion (I followed some guy's tutorial on youtube that allowed me to create a bootable EFI partition but this tutorial seems to not working anymore as some of the commands are not support or just plainly doesn't exit any more)

Here is video that I followed but as I pointed out above this does not seem to work on later versions of OSX.

Hello PenPedin, thanks for replying back to us. Did you get into kali live usb in efi mode?
Anyway you need to use the kali linux weekly build and making usb bootable kali linux using universal usb installer by pendrivelinux and reboot. Go to boot menu and select an efi boot kali usb drive. When it is booted into kali boot selector(or whatever), choose the very top of the menu(kali live).
Thanks!

I was able to get into it and I followed the guide and the result was the same :(
Clover UEFI is still not a boot option. Any ideas?

I finally made to see clover hd boot option while using your guide but when I try to login to MacOS it loads very slow and crashes at 90%.if I boot from usb it loads Sierra normally.any suggestions ?

I have tried everything once again, installed a clean copy of OSX and running clover and everything else. If anyone has any idea why the EFI partition doesn't show up on the boot options, please let me know.

This guide was written only using the board mentioned, it is not guaranteed to work on every board out there, whether Asrock or some other brand. It has of course been successful for many users.

If the boot option is not showing up as expected, I would suggest 3 things to consider :

1. Reboot back into the linux environment and see what the output of the commands is. Have your changes stuck after reboot ?

2. Remember this guide is for UEFI setups. Every time you boot the system, irrespective whether it is the Unibeast Installer, the linux environment or the installed system, it MUST be booted in UEFI mode. Clover also MUST be installed in UEFI mode too, not legacy or some other method.

3. If the changes have been a success, you should be able to boot into your UEFI bios setup page and see the newly named drive as an option in the list of boot devices.

If you cant say yes to the above 3 things, it will be unlikely to work. At this point you should consider retracing your steps during the guide (Its easy to sometimes miss out a small but important step or command), or consider that it simply doesnt work with your particular board.

Also remember that a full bios reset will normally revert any changes made, so you can start over.

Finally, consider that any bios update/upgrade carried out will likely overwrite the changes you made, so you will need to repeat the steps in the guide.
