Quick question, is it my cheap graphics card or is there a different reason Airplay mirroring disappear from menu bar when monitor is connected thru HDMI or DVI. It works with VGA.

I'm using a GTX 1050 and it still gives me that option when I use HDMI. What system definition do you use ?

iMac 13,1

Here's Apple's official requirements. Make sure you meet all of these.

Minimum requirements if your Mac and Apple TV are on the same network:

I'm not sure if it is a problem unique to the GT210 card. You could try a 710 and see if that works.

To find out what network your Apple TV (4th generation) is using, go to Settings > Network. On earlier Apple TV models, go to Settings > General > Network. The Apple TV should be on the same network as your Mac.

All these requirements seem to be okay. I'm going to buy better card. Reason I bought cheap one was to build Hackintosh as cheap as possible. Even if I had to pay for that 8300 (which I've got for free) I would not spend more than $70. Now it's time to beef it up. Thanks for your help

Sounds good. Make sure to use the 13,2 iMac system def. as those had discrete graphics cards.

I've changed it to 13,2 but still no luck
